I do indeed. I'm a techie and have been for most of life and have a love/hate relationship with most of my electronic gadgets with the exception of my Kindle Voyager which I only love and never hate. For me, this device is perfect. Love the size, love the screen, love the fact that I've always got access to as many books as I could ever want to read. I still enjoy the occasional dead tree book, but I really have zero complaints about my Kindle.

I get through about a book a month. I'm dyslexic so reading is a struggle. I'm so jealous of anyone who can get through books in a couple of days. I've tried audio books but they don't work for me. I don't seem to retain anything.

Sorry to hear about your dyslexia, that's a real shame not being able to take full advantage of something you'd like to do. I'm the same way with audio books. When I read, I am able to concentrate 100% on what I'm reading. When I listen to anything be it music, TV, movies, audio books, my ADHD kicks in big time. With audio books this means that by the time I'm able to track back to what I'm listening to, I've missed a ton of the story.

the Kindle has a dyslexia font that supposedly helps folks read better, dunno if you've tried anything like that or if it even works

I tried a Kindle but there's something about holding a book in my hands that appeals to me in a way that a reader doesn't. I have tried the dyslexia fonts and didn't find them any better for me. I've read many people think they're great. Dyslexia works in so many ways so I'm not surprised that the fonts work for some but not others.

pkadare so are you a fan of David Weber? What about John Ringo?
I'm making my way through the Honor Harrington series for probably the third time.

Well done Paul. Kathy and I are avid readers too and it has been a blessing during the past months especially. How can one become bored when you can keep sharing in the imagination of so many talented fiction writers, and also learn a new thing or two from many intelligent non-fiction authors?

Reading is good for the mind, body, and soul. I read books some of the time but should read more books. I always feel better when I read books...or the AR site.
