    Funny names

I heard the name of a local road on the news and thought it might be a fun topic. If you know a road or town, or whatever with a funny name please post it.

The road I heard on the news is Frog Bottom Rd.

We have a "Temporary Road" near here. It has been there since the late 1980's.

My aunt and uncle lived on Poverty Hollow Road in Chicken Town, PA. I always get a "Really?!?" from folks but I say "Yep!"

Jackass Hill road in or near Littleton, Colorado. My kids could not stop saying it.

not a road but legend has it the sign announcing your arrival in Virgin, Utah could not stay posted for very long. “Entering Virgin”. Can’t seem to understand why...

Here in Washington we have mile marker signs along the highway, rectangular and green with the mile number from where the highway began. The '69' sign in just a blank, guess they got tired of replacing them.

ComfortablyNumb got me thinkin', (and I'll get even fer makin' me turn on my brain ). There is a tourist destination on the East coast named Va Beach - it's the first relatively warm access to the Atlantic Ocean coming from the North.

There's a community near me named Beach, and there used to be a county sign that said Beach VA. It was stolen so many times they finally just removed the post...
