    Soft food

    OK, so I had some dental work done and I can only eat soft food for a week. Is Wagyu soft food?

    LOL! Lookin forward to lotsa soft food solutions, as I'm hopefully gonna be gittin some viable top teeth made, as th pandemic settles down...was set back ~ 6 months or so by current ongoin situation...

              Depends on who cooks it. I do like the quest idea though.

              Wagyu soggy nachos sound good. I like soggy foods like day old salads n sammiches and such.

                  Rice gruel (congee, jook, okayu). Almost every Asian culture has a recipe for it. A bit of poached chicken and some fresh ginger and shiitake cooked in the pot are easy to eat and very satisfying.

                    Light flakey fish would be a good option. Some soups or chili might work well in a blender.

                      Some soft foods I've compiled, as I approach gittin started on an upper denture adventure...

                      Hope this will help to give ya some variety to choose from, an maybe spark some new ideas that I'm hopin others will share

                      Cottage cheese

                      Mashed / baked / boiled potatoes
                      Fine ground meats
                      ham salad

                      well cooked beans

                      soft / softened breads, rolls, bisquits, etc.
                      guacamole
                      Egg salad
                      Finely chopped slaw
                      Potato salad
                      Breads
                      Peanut butter
                      jelly / jams
                      tomatoes, sauce ,etc.
                      stuffing
                      jello
                      cream cheese
                      creamed corn
                      creamed soups
                      thinly sliced (shaved) deli meats
                      Nachos
                      Salsa
                      Queso Chili
                      oatmeal
                      grits
                      gravy
                      bananas
                      cooked cabbage
                      hummus
                      oatmeal
                      porridge
                      pudding
                      cheesecake
                      queso

                      Bread pudding was a staple when I had some dental work done. Bourbon goes well in it.
                      Boubon goes well with everything. And nothing, too.
                      I know there was another food, might be rice pudding that made up my staples.
