    Prayer Request.

There is clearly some prayer power here in the pit. I am humbly requesting a few from my pit brothers and sisters.

My younger brother fell a little over 20 feet off of a ladder today and was rushed to the hospital. So far, he’s got a broken clavicle, 4 broken ribs, fractured vertebrae, fractured shoulder, and a partially collapsed lung. He is in Washington state and I am in Texas. This is a significant struggle for me as I can’t presently be there for him. I know he is at the hospital in good hands and his injuries could have been FAR worse, but I am not doing great being this far away. My brother is my best friend in the world. We have the same birthday, 2 years apart, so we have always been very close.

RickyBobby Wrong side of the hill for me. If he were in North Central or North Eastern I'd figure out a way to pay him a visit. So just thoughts and prayers.

Damn brother, very sorry to hear about that. Adding your brother to my good vibes and prayers list. As you know, I’m in WA state, also, so perhaps distance can be a factor.

Thank you, sir. We used to live in Kent and went to high school there. He always wanted to get back to Washington state after we left in 2002. He finally got back up there a couple years ago.

You have my prayers. My Brother-In-Laws have the same birthdays one year apart. Lord have mercy on Ricky and his brother and keep then in your care, and may the peace of God which passes all human comprehension keep them in you,

Ya can bet, ain't no doubt Chuck will be included in my prayers, Brother...
Meanwhile, how are you holdin up?
It's a fair nuff question, at this particular juncture...
Ya know where to hit me up, right?
Jus sayin, ya'll Never Walk Alone, as long as I'm still pumpin air.

RickyBobby - No “sir” needed here. While on active duty in the USAF I was an NCO. Later, while working for the FAA, I “ascended” to the lofty equivalent rank of Colonel ... which drove the the staff of the Malmstrom AFB O-Club totally nuts as they had to treat the visiting long-haired bearded weirdo “Colonel” with as much “respect” as they could reluctantly pretend to muster. Good times ...
