Nothing to be sorry about. I get that feeling every now and then and after awhile there are a mess of posts again. I notice it often in relation to the change of seasons; people busy with starting gardens, getting cookers ready, other outdoor activities etc...

    I guess it’s just me.

Natural ebb & flow. More content to search and learn from might equal less need for new posts. I don't really see that it's slowed down, if anything I find it harder to keep up.

It appears to be up to me. I agree most everything on this forum is quality stuff as well.

When I helped run a forum, the only 2 things that mattered to us was daily log-ins and post quality. Post quantity increase isn't always a good thing and I find most of the posts here are quality and that's all that matters

I'm pretty sure there was a post last year as well about a drop in the number of posts. If you discount the new member posts I believe you are right that the number of posts are down from a year ago, or they are dropping off the forum faster than last year which would give the same effect. There is also a surge in older posts coming back as new members explore the history I have learned to always check start dates so I know whether comments are appropriate or not. With the pandemic I am checking the forum more often but my posting comments have not increased.

With the pandemic keeping people at home, I find that it is up. Certainly a lot of new members.

Perhaps it is just me, but has the participation on the forum dwindled a bit from last year?
