Guitar players, let's see your gear: guitars, pedals, amps, cabs, etc!

Inspired by Dewesq55. -- I don't have all of my gear at my house but I will see if I can get the rest of it around to pose for a pic. In the meantime, let's see yours!

Yeah, I've heard that. I'm going to measure it three or four times, set it aside overnight and measure it three or four times again in the morning and then maybe I'll be able to drill it just once.

Ha! You knew I had to do it! Pedals? Not so much really. There was a time and place, but these days I don't use much. Plus, I am mostly acoustic these days.

Let me know if ya want any scratch built amp pics. There are a few in this room. The Princeton was my latest. 100% scratch built. Electronics, cabinet, tolex and all... Fixin to start building my Fender Twin next.

My 1972 Slingerland kit, believe it or not, I found this thing brand new in box about 10 years ago.

Barbara, (cus she has played in so many bars) is my main acoustic 5th from the right. This is my baby. I hand built her many many years ago.

Many many MANY years ago, when I first started this journey, I really wanted a decent amp...but money was tight. (Read: pretty nonexistent) So I set out to learn how to build one. Based on a ‘65 Princeton because the only schematics I could get was for that or a Bassman...which used 4 speakers so still too much money. Anyway, learning to play seriously irritated my parents. LOL So I built the amp with no volume knob. ROFL A long screwdriver thru a secret hole was the only way to turn it down.

barelfly - The fingerboard on the strat of cocobolo. It's really nice. The necks aren't roasted, just plain maple. The "LP" neck is mahogany. The stay it's much further along than when that photo was taken. I'll post another so you can see the body color. I think you'll like it 😁

ID:	833654Got a blues jr in the house with a whole bunch o guitars. Got an obscenely overloaded pedal board and fender reverb reissue that are way too big for anything i do now sitting in my parents garage because we have no space for it here.

of the guitars...1-4 left to right i built and finished myself.

dont play nearly enough these days.

I dont have a picture of then currently. Off the top of my head: analogman king of tone, bicompressor, 2 modded ts9s, an old boss dd5, maxon ad9 (i think), custom bypass switcher...and probably more else than i care to remember.

Mr. Bones thats the plan! I dont plan on using a traditional grain filler but i will wet samd and rub it in a little just to fill the grain slightly. I dont want it silky smooth to the touch, still want to be able to feel the grain on that top.

I love my Seagull. Such a nice guitar for the money. I have a MkII Katana head. Someday I'll get a cab to go with it, but the little 5" built-in speaker works great for my bedroom.

My amp. Peavey Encore 65. It's a really nice amp. All tube, spring reverb. But I hardly ever play through it these days. I mostly play through my Joyo American Sounds direct into my DAW with an IR loader cabinet simulator.

Mr. Bones I've got a Behringer U-phoria UMC-22 2x2 USB interface. It came with a coupon code to get an OEM version of Tracktion Waveform 8. It's a very nice DAW, especially seeing as it didn't cost me anything. The Behringer Input 1 is convertible for either ¼" mono or XLR. It has a built-in mic preamp. I can mic my acoustic or record vocals. My acoustic is electrified but it has no preamp or EQ.

Great Pic, Brother! That's one dang dang Classic Guitfiddle, right there! I'd be Honoured to play such a fine Music Mochine! Learned mostly on my Da's late '50's Airline archtop, Monkey Wards version, same as Silvertone was Sears Roebucks; both were most likely made by Harmony, re-badged fer catalog sales...even from this distance, I can smell that they's a whole lotta Robert Johnson all kinda stuck up there in that guitar, jus dyin to git out!

Mr. Bones - My older brother had (maybe still does) a Silvertone amp. I don't remember too much about it, but it had a separate head and cab. I think the cab was 2x12. It was apparently made by Fender and built around a Blackface Bassman with a few tweaks. I think it was 50 or 60 watts.

Dewesq55 I still have a Silvertone Twin Twelve, Model 1484, iircYa wanna talk bout yer Great Freakin Chicago Pawnshop Blues Tone, well, Sir: Right there it is. 'Specially when I plug in a Silvertone, Airline, Teisco Del Rey, or similar other pawnshop bottom shelf guitfiddles into it. They've probly got th World's Carppiest Spring reverb, EVER, but that can be worked round, (FX), or modded to better, which I'm strokin my beard, an currently contemplatin
