Duck fat spray is where it's at. The wife and I have been using it since it hit the market and is the only spray in the kitchen. We have even sprayed it on popcorn much to our delight. Enjoy!!!

Well hello. Walked outside and surprise a package from Joanne’s (a crafting store) for Sophia. Next to it was a package for me. The box gave away the Secret Santa in an instant though.
CaptainMike What an awesome gift. I’m not gonna lie I am seriously loving my new Coffee mug.

I currently use an old shop light at night. You know the one. In addition is a salt dish.

Both the mug and the salt dish are hand made by his better half. Both pieces are amazing and I love them.

Thank you my friend for such thoughtful and useful gifts. And the note too.

Thank you Secret Santa clb239 for the gifts. Everything will come in very useful. I love all the Meat Church products and that honey hog is some good stuff. I really did need some shakers, and I use tons of those nitrile gloves. Those peanuts were a very nice personal touch...already ate half the jar....ha. Thanks again and hope you and yours have an awesome Christmas and great New Year.

Pretty sure a little elbow grease with more steam would get them bright and shiny but frankly this meet my criteria even for a turkey.

So, they say that good things come to those who wait. That proved to be true in spades as far as my Secret Santa was concerned. After taking a long, slow trip around or across the USA, today I got home to find a very large wooden box with handles sitting in my front porch. It was so heavy, I could barely bring it in the house myself. The top was attached with about 2 dozen 1⅝" drywall screws. After finally getting the to off, this is what was inside:

Definitely worth waiting by for! The gloves and the meat pulling forks were the Cherry on top. Thanks a million, Santa!

Even though I was a little late in getting this going, all of you came together and made it happen. The generosity displayed this year was amazing. It makes it so much fun to see what everyone comes up with.

This is a fun event every year and I hope it continues to grow with every year. It shows just how special this group of people really is.

Again, thank you very much to everyone who participated. (Next year, I will send out the notice much earlier so more can join.)

        Keep the smoke rollin'

        John

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

      Placeholder

The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

Griddle And Deep Fryer In One

      Placeholder

The flat top does the burgers and the fryer does the fries. Use the griddle for bacon, eggs, and home fries. Or pancakes, fajitas, grilled cheese, you name it. Why stink up the house deep frying and spatter all over? Do your fried chicken and calamari outside. Blackstone's Rangetop Combo With Deep Fryer does it all!

The Pit Barrel Cooker May Be Too Easy

      Placeholder

The PBC has a rabid cult following for good reason. It is absolutely positively without a doubt the best bargain on a smoker in the world. Period. This baby will cook circles around the cheap offset sideways barrel smokers because temperature control is so much easier.

We always liked Grilla. The small 31.5" x 29.5" footprint makes it ideal for use where BBQ space is limited, as on a condo patio.

      Placeholder

The PK-360, with 360 square inches of cooking space, this rust free, cast aluminum charcoal grill is durable and easy to use. Four-way venting means it's easy to set up for two zone cooking with more control than single vent Kamado grills. Our Favorite Backyard Smoker

      Placeholder

The amazing Karubecue is the most innovative smoker in the world. The quality of meat from this machine is astonishing. At its crux is a patented firebox that burns logs above the cooking chamber and sucks heat and extremely clean blue smoke into the thermostat controlled oven. It is our favorite smoker, period.

The Cool Kettle With The Hinged Hood We Always Wanted

      Placeholder

Napoleon's NK22CK-C Charcoal Kettle Grill puts a few spins on the familiar kettle design. In fact, the hinged lid with a handle on the front, spins in a rotary motion 180 degrees. It's hard to beat a Weber kettle, but Napoleon holds its own and adds some unique features to make the NK22CK-C a viable alternative.
