    • Smoker: Brinkmann 'split door' vertical smoker about 39" tall. Three racks. I wouldn't want to put an infra-red camera on that thing. It's a Wal-mart wonder, but I make do for now.

Grill 1: Weber Gold One Touch, 22.5"

Grill 2: Master Forge 32" charcoal grill. Not such a bad grill really, so far as my experience with it goes. You can adjust the height of the charcoal, which I like. It also has a removable ash pan, and a front door for adding coal without opening the lid. Downside? The lid doesn't seal at all.

      Thermometer: Maverick ET-732

Favorite Beer: Weihenstephaner Korbinian, but I enjoy most doppelbock beer.

I have a wonderful assortment of temperature reading devices, like infrared, instant read, and stay in brands.... all are good and kept in calibration.

I love beer guys... I can say I've tasted/sampled hundreds, maybe a thousand. I brew my own and love local Texas selections. Shiner has a wonderful selection of brews I like. There are many others in Texas worth putting to your lips. I drink what tastes good, no matter where it's brewed!

I experiment with food on the grill/smoker and in the oven. I'm inspired with what I read. I love to show off with family & friends.

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

                the good one grill

The Good-One Open Range is a charcoal grill with an offset smoke chamber attached. It is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. The grill sits low in front and doubles as a firebox for the smoke chamber which is spliced on above and behind so it can work like a horizontal offset smoker only better. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

                Pit Barrel Cooker Smoker

Griddle And Deep Fryer All In One

The flat top does the burgers and the fryer does the fries. Use the griddle for bacon, eggs, and home fries. Or pancakes, fajitas, grilled cheese, you name it. Why stink up the house deep frying and spatter all over? Do your fried chicken and calamari outside. Blackstone's Rangetop Combo With Deep Fryer does it all. Plus it has a built in cutting board, garbage bag holder, and paper towel holder. An additional work table on the left side provides plenty of counter space.
