    At 5'10" I can't either Spinaker. 😀

The longest we’ve ever done is the 9 1/2 hours of Atlanta to Santiago, a couple months ago. Even though we were upgraded to comfort plus, I was in agony, it was just this side of unbearable. I couldn’t imagine doing twice that time.

So the EWR to SIN on Singapore airlines in business class (no first class on that equipment) with a Saturday stay is $11,016.13 USD. :-)

I suppose it would be nice to just push through and get the trip done rather than stop. At 6'5" I can't imagine being stuffed into a plane for that long, non-stop. 1st class might make it tolerable. However, I am guessing that is a 15K-20K ticket for the front seats.

I did my time on freighters into the arctic many moons ago.
Nothing like watching cars pass you below on the highway in a DC-3 flying Calgary to Yellowknife.
I took off my watch and hung up a calendar on those old prop flights.

I fly enough that I really never have to worry about being in the back of the bus as 99.99% of the time I can get an upgrade to business class. Prior to joining Microsoft, when I was self employed, business class travel was part of my contracts.
I also fly enough that I usually book by equipment rather than by schedule. For long haul flights, I will always try to book on to a Dreamliner. The higher cabin pressure and humidity levels (more carbon fibre and less aluminium in the cabin) make a huge difference to me.

Longest haul I’ve done is Atlanta to Johannesburg... not any fun in cattle car seats. Just got back from Taiwan a week ago via the much shorter Taipei to San Francisco hop, still no fun even in biz class since I managed to get dual sinus and ear infections on the way back.

When I was younger I was much more inclined to say one long haul flight is much better than having a stop... my preference has now changed. I’m now ok with an extra stop, provided the layover/connection has a 2 hour minimum gap. Being able to go to the airline admiral’s club (yeah, a luxury not everyone is able to enjoy) makes an extra stop very refreshing instead of 16+ hours straight in the hyper low humidity germ recycling metallic Tylenol tube.

If you fly Singapore Air or Emirates on an A380 in business class then it's actually a piece of cake. We've been to Asia (HK, Manila, Bangkok) several times to see relatives (hers). Unfortunately I could only afford to upgrade to Premium Economy (which wasn't too bad). It's a long haul though.

THE Humble Texan - A little denial goes a long way ... in my case, roughly 25000 miles each trip.

    If you're going for younger now you must be older (;

When I was with BHP, I developed a real love/hate relationship with those long-haul flights (LAX to Melbourne). I've crossed the International Date Line so many times in the same direction, I can't figure out if I'm a couple of months younger or older than I think I am (I'm going with younger for now ).

Possibly a New Record for the Longest Nonstop Commercial Flight

New York to Sydney or London to Sydney, 19 hours in the air. I did a bunch of work for Royal Dutch Shell a few years ago and their IT is based in Kuala Lumpur so I've done the current record holder, 18 1/2 hours, from EWR to SIN several times and I had no negative impacts. Far better than having to stop over in either Incheon or Narita as the nonstop would cut about 7 hours off of my travel time.

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

the good one grill

The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

Griddle And Deep Fryer In One

Pit Barrel Cooker Smoker

The flat top does the burgers and the fryer does the fries. Use the griddle for bacon, eggs, and home fries. Or pancakes, fajitas, grilled cheese, you name it. Why stink up the house deep frying and spatter all over? Do your fried chicken and calamari outside. Blackstone's Rangetop Combo With Deep Fryer does it all!

The PBC has a rabid cult following for good reason. It is absolutely positively without a doubt the best bargain on a smoker in the world. Period. This baby will cook circles around the cheap offset sideways barrel smokers because temperature control is so much easier.
