    Quick question on recipes...

Just a quick question on recipes. Is it pretty safe to just add more of given amounts if you want to make more of a recipe?

I have a sauce recipe on here I like but would like to make more at a time.

Yeah, I do that often. KC Classic for example.

You mean multiplying ingredients proportionally? Usually yes.

I made the mac & cheese recipe for a catering and scaled the recipe up by a factor of 16. I had to make it in two batches but it turned out fine.

Thanks for the info! Yeah, the current recipe (Jazzy Hog Glaze) make about a quart. I have a benifit I'm doing and am looking at 3-4 quarts.
I just wanted to get the input from others as I would hate to make it and have it not taste like I want it to.

I use the Bakers Percentage to scale my recipes up or down its very easy and accurate. You can use it with any recipe not just baked goods. Here's how it works.
