    I love this time of year!

    I love this time of year! Almost 10 p.m. ET, it's still light out. I can see everything on my deck and everything in my yard. Being on the western edge of the Eastern time zone has its perks for summertime nights.

        WORD! Temps here in KC are pretty well perfect the past couple weeks, feels so good to be outside comfortably again after the nasty cold winter (by Missouri standards anyway) we just got through.

        Knocking the the rust off the grilling skills... a nice stogie with a strawberry lemonade on the back deck after cleanup is done... yeah, sign me up for about 20 months straight of this. :-) Here’s the view off the back deck this evening.
