Obi-Dan a friend gave me a bottle of 21 year old Bushmill's .... I know it's Irish whiskey, but I think that will work just fine

ecowper, what do you smoke? Ashton VSG and any El Rey Del Mundo maduro were my favorite. And I actually got to JR's in Burlington, NC once on a business trip. I found some cheap pyramid shaped cigars there that were excellent, but I can't recall the brand. For some reason, I stopped smoking cigars a couple of years ago. Maybe I'll pick one up and fire it up on New Years.
You ever smoke one with any kind of port? I used to want to find a smoking jacket and smoke one with a glass of port and tell my wife just how special I really am. The kind of guy that should be written up in Cigar Aficionado magazine

klflowers Oliva Serie V or Graycliff are my go to ..... but I'm not shy and will try just about anything. I'm also a fan of Mark Twain Churchill's .... nice, mild cigar in the Churchill size. I have smoked with port .... but even better is cognac. Make sure you have a cognac snifter, get some good cognac in it, fire up an Ashton .... .and then tell your wife you are going to congratulate yourself on being a master of the universe .... straight out of the movie, Titanic ..... LOL
I prefer a cigar with whiskey, but sometimes it's great with a nice red wine, too.
