I looked out the kitchen window at lunch today, and this is what I saw, (click on the photo for a larger image):

It's a common occurrence, but I decided to see how it would look shot through a double pane window with my phone. BTW - two does and two button bucks.

I stopped hunting with a gun, (switched to a camera), in the mid 70's, but the hunt club I belonged to always had fresh venison tenderloins with biscuits and gravy - opening day.

Pretty cute. I've seen 3 baby foxes playing right there with their mom looking on. I've had a skunk stop my vehicle in its track there as it threatened to unload on me if I didn't let it go at its pace. And just this summer a little to the left my girlfriend was attacked by hornets while climbing an old growth redwood stump. Turned out she was allergic and she spent the night in the hospital.

Where does your neighbor park their car. I don't see a road.

Also, the fromt one only has three legs.

That's my shop and there is a brown gravel road going down the right side. We built the shop ~ 36 years ago and moved into it so we wouldn't have to pay rent. We then built the current house. My dad and I built the shop and started on the house, but he developed ALS, and I had to hire contractors to finish. We were able to move in before he died, so he did see it finished.

The Whitetails in this area are not particularly large, though there is an occasional large rack to be found. Several years ago I spent about 3 months tying to get a photo of a monster 14 point, but had no luck.
