    NFL- Week Quatro.

I thought I’d throw in a little Spanish lingo for those who speak it & a change from Arabic (2) & Roman (I) (pretty neat how I did that Roman numeral thing, don’t ya think?).
So, to the matter at hand, this opening 4 weeks of the season is NUTS, as in nutsy coocoo crazy. What’s with all these OT games. We’ve already had more ties since they started the tie breaking system. Well at least the tie breaking broke the ties. The Stupor Bowl champs are having a bit of a rough time, coming back to a bit of mediocrity in a mediocre division, with the Boys, Skins & the Lowly giants. Them Titans may have a team. Texans over the Colts, snooze, but at least no tie. The Steelers & the Falcons juusst might be in a pool of trouble. Baltimore & New Orleans & Cinci looking solid. My beloved Packers do not look like a good football team, barely beating the Bills 22-O. Then again the Bills throttled the Vikes last week, who knows & who knows the Vikes. The LA Wams look to be the weal deal (I wuv the fuddian dialect). That’s it, the west of the season it’s the Wams. Monday looks to be most interesting with the flame throwers from KC goin up agin the Broncos, although their D is not what it once was, now that Philips is with the Wams.
Alls right in New England and Jacksonville. But, and a big BUTT, Dah Bears? Could be interesting.

        SOUS VIDE

Yea Dah Bears, kicking ass and taking names. And how about them Texans? Although the fact that they are now officially 5-15 in their last 20 games doesn't inspire a lot of confidence but at least we're not quite the Browns, but we're getting there

Browns have a decent defense. They might still win 5 or 7 despite their head coach.

I read that more people in Okla watched the Browns game than the Cowboys. There's a noteworthy switch!

I would just like to give a shout out to Patrick Mahomes for making my fantasy team unexpectedly awesome in my office league!

Now if I can just go ahead and resist the urge to do something dumb like benching Golden Tate because he was listed as questionable at one point during the week, that'd be great.

JGo37 back in my sales days I once gave a 15 minute sales demonstration to a few fellow mgrs. & salesmen in the Fuddian dialect. There was also a time where I gave a real live presentation as John Wayne. The business owner was from Syria & didn’t have a clue. The sales rookie I had with me had his mind blown that day. Did everything to keep from losing it. It got most interesting in the close. I had to continue as the Duke because I was committed to the whole experience.

Look forward to the KC/Duncos tonight. Hate to say this in public, "Go Duncos". Being from New England you might understand my position. Over the years not a lot of love for the Duncos. Not too thrilled with KC either I.E. 08' 1st game. But need them to gain in the L column..

I live in Dallas, but I'm a Broncos fan first. I support the Cowboys, but the Cowboys fans are infuriating. After every win, "we're going to win the superbowl!" After every loss, "We suck, fire Garrett and Jerry Jones needs to go." For the record, I always think Jerry Jones and Garrett need to go. I'm steadfast in that opinion. Fan reaction to Dak Prescott is the same... he's either the second coming of Roger Staubach or the second coming of Bob Avellini. No in-between... depending on his last performance. I had to stop listening to sports radio because the Cowboys are ALL any of our THREE sports talk stations talk about... even during the off-season. I used to be a sports radio junkie, but I can't do it any more. Audio Books for me in the car now.

I almost quit playing fantasy football after last season, I realized that I didn't follow the NFL closely enough any more to keep up to date so I could properly manage my roster. But then I realized, I liked to play, I just didn't want to pay to play anymore... so only free leagues from now on.

Mostly the NFL isn't as interesting to me as it used to be. Too many dumb rules, too many bad interpretations of dumb rules, too many games lasting 4 hours (college football games are even longer) and I'm more interested in baseball and soccer (though baseball games are too long, also - at least they're addressing those issues.) I'd much rather spend an hour and a half watching an English soccer match. Or if I'm going to spend 3 hours, I can watch 2 soccer matches plus the league highlights in the time it takes to watch one NFL or college football game.

I'm glad they relaxed the celebration rule.

I have a problem with the rules over-protecting the quarterback but also feel like the new rule about landing with full weight on a QB is a good one. Linemen and linebackers have started using that technique to intentionally break collarbones and it needs to be stopped. That said, the call on Matthews last week was bad. Clean takcle.

That's basically how Justin Wilson got started as a comedian. He was a safety engineer/instructor and started telling stories with a Cajun accent to keep the audience's attention. He was of Welsh/French and grew up in south Louisiana so was very familiar with the culture and lingo of Acadiana.

If you have a Weber Kettle, you need the Slow 'N' Sear

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

          the good one grill
The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

Griddle And Deep Fryer In One

          Pit Barrel Cooker Smoker
The flat top does the burgers and the fryer does the fries. Use the griddle for bacon, eggs, and home fries. Or pancakes, fajitas, grilled cheese, you name it. Why stink up the house deep frying and spatter all over? Do your fried chicken and calamari outside. Blackstone's Rangetop Combo With Deep Fryer does it all!

The Pit Barrel Cooker May Be Too Easy

          Pit Barrel Cooker Smoker
The PBC has a rabid cult following for good reason. It is absolutely positively without a doubt the best bargain on a smoker in the world. Period. This baby will cook circles around the cheap offset sideways barrel smokers because temperature control is so much easier.
