need some prayers and moral support

You guys may have noticed I haven't been cooking laltely. there are reasons for that.

First, the Y is trying to lose weight so that he can get the hernia surgery he so desperately needs.

Second, some of you may know that I have Celiac Artery Compression Syndrome cause by MALS

Well, the Y's issue means we are doing simple and low carb. My issue means I'm almost not eating at all. and, of course, when I cook, I want to eat. so, it follows if I can't eat, I don't want to cook.

It has been pretty quiet over the last few years but, since about January, has REALLY represented itself. and I HATE it!

we'll see if it ever gets to a point that docs will treat it but, if not, cooking and eating is just because I HAVE to.

Karon, that's one tough condition to live with, especially for such an excellent cook as yourself. It's truly a cruel twist of fate.

I wish you all the best, but most especially that the MALS goes back into hiding for another long while (as in forever) so that you can eat more comfortably once again. And I'm sending along good vibes for your husband's upcoming hernia surgery too.

            Feel better soon,
            Kathryn
