I’m a CFP, certified financial planner, now for 18 years. Comprehensive financial planning for individuals and small businesses which includes investments, insurance, tax planning, estate planning, retirement income etc.
Before that I worked in all aspects of the restaurant business my last position was a division manager over 10 restaurants along the Florida gulf coast from Naples up to Bradenton.
I like to play golf and racquetball, read, and fish occasionally.

I'm retired from the NYSE. My other hobby? Trap. I could be at the trap range all day, every day, but for the cost of ammo. Same thing 'bout barbecue and grilling, too.

Do you have a recommendation for a gas gun that I can use to get my son and daughter started in shotgun sports? Looking at youth models that are light in .20 gauge.

@Beefchop: The only gas shotgun I know, in fact the ONLY shotgun I know, is my Remington 11-87. It's the only shotgun I've ever used in trap. I'm partial to Remington for that reason. I tried having my daughter, when she was a teen, to use it when we visited the range; but, it was too heavy for her.

I played WH40K in college (late 80s - I think I still have a squad of space marines somewhere) ... now my miniatures game of choice is subbuteo. Scratches the same craft itch, but it's more of a dexterity game than a strategy game (though there is strategy involved.)

For work, I’m in the mortgage industry. Hobbies? I got 99 hobbies and BBQ is one. I like to play golf, smoke occasional cigars, cycle around town, balloon animals (my secret hobby), hammocks, fishing, concealed carry hoping I’d never use it, and probably some more. Lately, I’ve been traveling and working too much for any hobbies but my favorite hobby is my 21 month year old boy. He’s a blast! And my wife is the best too because she puts up with all my hobbies.

My back ground is mechanical engineering and for the last 20+ years I have been in the safety relief valve industry working for a manufacturer. Before that I spent 10 years in R&D for a fibreglass insulation manufacturer, that was the best job I ever had. I am semi retired now, I work three days a week for a local valve repair shop, three days a week is just the right amount of time for me to work. I like to hunt, fish and smoke things, this web site has been a great help to me.

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

              the good one grill

The Good-One Open Range is a charcoal grill with an offset smoke chamber attached. It is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. The grill sits low in front and doubles as a firebox for the smoke chamber which is spliced on above and behind so it can work like a horizontal offset smoker only better. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

Griddle And Deep Fryer All In One

The flat top does the burgers and the fryer does the fries. Use the griddle for bacon, eggs, and home fries. Or pancakes, fajitas, grilled cheese, you name it. Why stink up the house deep frying and spatter all over? Do your fried chicken and calamari outside. Blackstone's Rangetop Combo With Deep Fryer does it all. Plus it has a built in cutting board, garbage bag holder, and paper towel holder. An additional work table on the left side provides plenty of counter space.

              Professional Steakhouse Knife Set

              masterbuilt gas smoker

Our founder, Meathead, wanted the same steak knives used by steakhouses such as Peter Luger, Smith & Wollensky, Morton's, Kobe Club, Palm, and many others. So he located the manufacturer and had them stamp our name on some. They boast pointed, temper-ground, serrated, high-carbon stainless-steel, half-tang blades with excellent cutting edge ability. The beefy hardwood handle provides a comfortable grip secured by three hefty rivets. He has machine washed his more than 100 times. They have never rusted and they stay shiny without polishing. Please note that we do not make, sell, or distribute these knives, they just engrave them with our name.
