-4F this morning with wind chills of -20 to -30F. 6-12" of snow predicted for Friday into Saturday. Not crazy about my home state of Wisconsin this time of year.........

        • I have 3 outdoor devices (plus a couple indoor items) Starting with the PBC, Faux Kamado Kooker,(Akorn metal Kamado) & Oklahoma Joe offset grill and smoker. I use the FireBoard WiFi Thermometer. IQ110 (heat control device for akorn) recently acquired a Char-Broil Big Easy TRU-INFRARED 3-in-1 Roaster, Smoker and Grill, I also have A Anova & Joule Sous Vide Wands and The Steakager ( a unit for Dry aging big hunks of meat!)

You have to remember I'm in Texas where the Statement "Don't like the weather? wait 15 min..." is Soooooo true. Today the high is only suppose to be in the upper 30's but Tomorrow a high of 77 (Seventy Seven) is expected! So I'm getting all the stuff together to Smoke my Spiral sliced ham!!

7 Degrees today. Sunday at noon it will be 1 below zero not counting the windchill which is projected to be 25 below zero. Coldest Bears vs Packers game in Chicago history.

Here in Olive Branch, MS it was mid 30s this morning. It is mid 50s now on Friday evening. Supposed to get up to 71 Saturday, before the cool down. Low overnight Saturday night into Sunday around 19. So 71 to 19 in about a day. Not the bitter cold you folks get, but pretty darn cold for us mid south folks. I work 2nd shift at the airport, so I may wear shorts to work Saturday and then put on insulated coveralls to get home Saturday night.....

19 degrees in Bellingham, WA. Did a brisket and beef ribs in the Battle Box in our chilly weather and the beast held rock steady temps and gave me 16 hours at 225 on a single tray of lump charcoal. First use of the DigiQ. I renamed it the "Get-to-sleep-all-nighty-Q."

                    • We have two weber kettle grills (one LARGE and one small/average), the SnS and the Weber Smokey Mountain 18" smoker. We use both natural lump charcoal and KNB for smoking and measure our temps with a Maverick 733, thermopen and MK4. Favorite beer depends on what is cooking (alt answer is yes).

27* with sleet and freezing rain. Supposed to get up to 50 later today. Hope they are right.

"Ugh" is right. It was 65 F on Thursday, 32 F on Friday, and 0.2 F today near Denver. And the cherry on this particular weather cake is that I've got to go out now and shovel snow. Ugh!
