      • Do you know the way to San Jose?

Hooray for that wet stuff that sometimes falls from the sky! First rain in San Jose in many months! Not a gully washer like I was used to in the Deep South, but we will take whatever we can get.

It's an unseasonably balmy 73 here in central MI right now, kinda weird. It's a blustery day, Winnie the pooh, power outages from the wind. It feels like a July morning actually, except for the colorful trees.

Same here in SE Wisconsin Huskee, it hit 80 on Monday and 73 today. We've still got flowers and pepper plants growing like crazy which is unheard of for this time of year.

Danjohnston949 No, slept today. Thankfully the wind didn't blow all the colorful leaves off. ribeyeguy Weird isn't it? The weather is having mercy on us right before a big dropoff I fear.

This is one of the reasons I stayed in the DFW area and never moved back to MN when I got out of the Army. I realized I didnt like being cold in the winter and it is much easier to grill year round down here. Plus I met an amazing woman and got married. So....I am now one happy former yankee.

Fast forward to today. I've had the fever/chills/sick in bed junk last two days. Then we get this. It got worse after this, there's probably 2" out there now.

I haven't even been able to get out and rake up the fallen leaves yet.

                Summer was too short!

Supposed to almost hit 70 tomorrow in SE Wisconsin, unheard of for this time of year. Man, if global warming is real I'm digging it.

Nope, no snow yet. It felt cold enough for it a few days ago but nothing fell.

Had 2" of rain in 24 hrs last week near Utica WI, I feel a huge amount of snow coming this winter if it ever gets below freezing, has not froze yet at my home.
