I hate to say (OK, not really) that we had to turn the AC on today. 83 and humid in Tampa

      • We have two weber kettle grills (one LARGE and one small/average), the SnS and the Weber Smokey Mountain 18" smoker. We use both natural lump charcoal and KNB for smoking and measure our temps with a Maverick 733, thermopen and MK4. Favorite beer depends on what is cooking (alt answer is yes).

Yesterday was gray, cloudy drizzley and 41. Now, 32 and the overnight rain JUST turned to sleet. Scheduled to turn to snow shortly with a significant thumping between 10 am and 4pm. Could be 1'+. I'm grilling tonight! Update, and half an hour later we changed from rain, to sleet and now everything is white.

Sorry to hear that FLB. Thats not good. I got to admit I'm always sad to see spring come. Its staring. Birds are singing in the morning. Days are getting longer. Always sad for me. Reminds me of a song.

Had enough of the cold stuff growing up in Ohio to last me a lifetime. The only snow I see now is on the Weather channel

15, no wind, and sunny here. It actually seems warm by comparison to the last several weeks. Supposed to be mid 40s this coming week. And 50s next weekend! MUD!

        • Hi, my name is Darrell. I'm an OTR truck driver for over 25 years. During my off time I love doing backyard cooks. I have a 48" Lang Deluxe smoker, Rec-Tec pellet smoker,1 Weber Genesis 330, 1 Weber Performer (blue), 2 Weber kettles (1 black and 1 Copper), 1 26" Weber kettle, a WSM, 8 Maverick Redi Chek thermometers, a PartyQ, 2 SnS, Grill Grates, Cast Iron grates, 1 ThermoPop (orange) and 2 ThermoPens (pink and orange) and planning on adding more cooking accessories. Now I have an Anova sous vide, the Dragon blower and 2 Chef alarms from Thermoworks.

This is what we have at home right now. So glad I'm not there.

Man that's purdy. I'd love to see that. All we've gotten is a bunch of tiny snowfalls added up since late Nov, not nearly as cool.

Its safe to say we've made the turn on winter. Maybe a storm or two but its about over. Yeah I'm going to miss it but not when I look at my gas bill.

'Twas 46 and straight sunshine today. It smells muddy, like spring outside. A very welcome change. Supposed to even be in the mid 50s in a few days. Similar forecast as The Burn except more sunshine, or so ours says, that remains to be seen of course.

And to think just over two weeks ago it was -22 with a high of 0.
