46.9F, feels like 47F...not kidding, that is what wunderground claims.

It is a pain, but some folks just have to endure crap like this.

Low tonight of 47, don't be surprised if you don't hear from me for some time.

That's what we had the last few days, of course it was an unseasonable warm front for us, and probably a polar vortex for TX. I too am near upper 20s like Jon. Of course, we're about 2 hrs away from each other...

We had 20's on my vacation. They were calling for lows in the 30's this weekend, now they are bumping that up to at least 40.

I swear, right now, one of my step-sons is pretending to be a fireman with a spider man mask (I asked him if his face got burnt )....he just saved a doll like 50 times from a house fire. Stupid kid kept crawling back in.

                            -10°C (14°F) overnight
stays around that temp (give or take a few degrees) until about Monday. Supposed to be -20°C next week (-4°F).
Hopefully get a decent amount of ice fishing in over the next few weeks.

If you have a Weber Kettle, you need the Slow 'N' Sear

                            slow n sear
The Slow 'N' Sear turns your grill into a first class smoker and also creates an extremely hot sear zone you can use to create steakhouse steaks.

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

                            the good one grill
The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

Griddle And Deep Fryer In One

                            Pit Barrel Cooker Smoker
The flat top does the burgers and the fryer does the fries. Use the griddle for bacon, eggs, and home fries. Or pancakes, fajitas, grilled cheese, you name it. Why stink up the house deep frying and spatter all over? Do your fried chicken and calamari outside. Blackstone's Rangetop Combo With Deep Fryer does it all!

The PBC has a rabid cult following for good reason. It is absolutely positively without a doubt the best bargain on a smoker in the world. Period. This baby will cook circles around the cheap offset sideways barrel smokers because temperature control is so much easier.
