Well, it’s not like I was gonna eat canned tuna anyway. I guess getting a little warmth out of the can makes it worth something.

I keep seeing a BBQ on craigslist that says it uses only newspaper for fuel. I shake my head every time.

However, I will occasionally have a vanilla porter float in the summer (Empyrean Vanilla Porter w/a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream) as I usually drink stouts & porters in the colder months, pale ales & IPAs in the warmer months. I have to add Not Your Father's Root Beer to beers I use for floats.
                * - Booze - I don't really have a favorite, but lean towards single malt Scotch & Irish whiskey
                * - Wines - Reds: mainly the heavy stuff mixed in with the occasional pinot noir ( I have yet to meet a malbec I didn't like); Whites: German & Nebraska (hey, I have to support the home team)

....or no, you gotta watch this one.....

                Hobo Stove

This guy actually does about a 2 minute comparison of the difference between an American made can opener and a Chinese knock off....seriously? Also catch the state of his backyard swing set at about the 13:55 mark, probably a hobo swing set as well !!! Nearly peed my pants watching this buffoon.....

Surprised Ron Popeil didn't take out a patent on this thing. Oh well guess I can save on that $2300 Yoder I was about to purchase

that is very much like the stoves that the crew of Shackleton's expedition (and all Antarctic expeditions) used. but they also had legs and a bottom firecan. you put whale blubber in the rop can, which fried the whale meat and the blubber boiled over, fueling the fire in a can, below.

              the good one grill
The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker.
