    Weirdness happening with a post

    I posted "First beef ribs on the PBC" in the PIt Barrel cooker forum. When it was saved, it showed up in my recent posts, but not in the PBC forum list or today's posts.

    So I posted it again in beef - apologizing if its a duplicate

    Now the first post is showing up but the second isn't - not sure what's going on. I'll clear the second text.

      The strange part is that I did. I even logged out, closed Firefox, opened it, cleared the cache, and the problem persisted.

      Very strange.

          If the server is busy MySQL may not update all of the indices in the database for a while. Without those entries, some of the different views (such as today's posts) may not have everything show up right away

          if your post shows up where you put it, but not in other views, you should give it a while before you try to repost it. I don't know how busy the server is, so I'd give it a half hour before you try again. Bet it shows up before then.
