    Share the music

I'm starting this thread for all music lovers to share their favourite artists/songs by posting a link to a site or video. I'll start with the brilliant Texas singer/songwriter Robert Earl Keen, Jr performing his song 'Barbeque'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hex1IeyBhPM

Looking forward to your favourites and sharing more of mine.

I saw Uncle Tupelo play a few times in the early 1990s in Boulder, CO, at the Fox Theater. This was before the Jeffs split up. Tweedy formed Wilco and Farrar formed Sun Volt. Both great bands, but Wilco definately had the bigger hits. Great music.

I was so fortunate to see the original Wall tour back in 1980 and I had no idea at the time what a timeless masterpiece this album was to become, especially this song.

      Opening up another old post.
Used to work on the ramp at Pearson airport in Toronto, Floyd used to rent Canadian airline hanger to practice for a month or so before going out on tour.
They would leave the hanger door open after dusk, airlines would pull up rows of baggage carts and workers with ramp access would sit and watch them rehearse till all hours of the night.

That was an amazing band, whose music still sounds contemporary. Check out a few of the other recordings on YouTube. Just an amazing mix. Chappo (the vocalist) is in a class of his own! Like Plant and Burton Cummings.

I saw Levon, performing with his daughter, a year or so before his passing. Maybe the highpoint of my music-going lifetime. Such an amazing voice!

Led Zeppelin.... Greatest band of all time. The look, the sound and the swagger. And they are classy, when Bonzo died they said they were done. They couldn’t go on without him. The Who replaced Moonie before his body was cold.

Pink Floyd without a doubt was the best show I have ever seen. Period! End O story. Followed by Charlie Daniels at the Crazy Horse (in OC, not there anymore) and then Alice cooper. How do,you put like and videos?

I found this in the help section: "Sharing videos is very similar to posting photos, except you'll click the Advanced Editor icon (look like an underlined A) then from the Advanced Editor's options you'll use the Film Strip icon to post a video." I haven't tried it yet, but will give it a go.

smokin fool Susan Tedeschi, a musician in her own right, is married to Derek Trucks and together they make up the Tedeschi/Trucks Band. Quite a bit of representation here, as well as Samantha Fish. You have quite a bit of catching up to do! ;-)

This is maybe my favorite tune ever. IMO SRV was actually better than Jimi on this one. Kinda like Jimi's version of All Along The Watchtower compared to Bob Dylan who wrote it.
