Awesome song and one of my favorites from the Edgar Winter Group. Watch the sax solo from Edgar….These guys were so talented and made a lot of great music.

My mother and I would listen to Casey Kasem every week. I got my love of music from her.
There was always music playing in the house / car growing up. My mother listened to everything from 50's greaser rock to 60's hippie music to 70's arena rock to 80's new wave and hair metal.

Monte Montgomery is a beast on acoustic guitar. Video quality isn't great, but this '99 Austin City Limits performance is lights out. Drummer and bassist ain't half bad either:

You were probably wondering to yourself what song did I want to hear today.

A Tracey Chapman song covered by a southern rock band probably didn’t enter your mind.

Well it’s knocking and you might want to let it in.

I Very Much Likeys Blackstone Cherry...Let that be said, aforehand.

I DO feel, however, that th mixdown of this cut could have been made much more equitably; speakin as a guitfiddlist, an vocalist, my personal take is that there is WAY too much guitfiddle, vs vox...YMMV...

Were it my song, at th hand of an inept engineer, I would've emasculated em with a rusty hacksaw blade, then slowly bludgeon em to Death, with a cricket bat..takin pics, along th

Personally, as a picker, an a sanger, I feel like th ^^guitfiddles^^ were WAY too @#*&^%$ Forward/In Yer Face, an that a much more totally 'Harmonious Conclusion'/Equitable Overall Balance mighta/coulda/coulda been achieved, even by a poor ol stump-jumpin, ridge-runnin, deer chasin, six-toed, corn-fed, inbred, brain-dead, banjo pickin Muhzurruh Hillbilly, setch as myself YMMV
