That is also one of my favorite SRV tunes Mr. Bones 2nd best guitarist in the world, IMO. We all know who’s #1 My personal tie for # 3 is Angus Young and Eddie Van Halen.

Tough tie goin on there, brother!!! !!! Tend to agree, conditionally...
I love what each does / did, an with much respeck to their places in Rock History, they both hold a undeniable, an rightfully earned place, eh?

In my final shakin out th seeds an stems, wail, why, I'd haveta tag Angus over Eddie, on accounta that's more my style; Angus plays Straight-Up Blues Rock, without compromise. Eddie plays, wail, Eddie...

A'hma Bluesman, reckon which one would end up i

I also would tag Angus over Eddie. And for the same reason.

Well, here's something you've probably never heard before. Some guy was posting an ad seeking old 45RPMs and put a picture of the label from this one. YouTube only had one video, and that was of the flip side of the ad posting. I only came across two websites that even mentioned it, and one was a for sale page where the 45 sold for $99. Anyway, after all that, here are the 'Frontier Freuds'

FireMan Like I said, a guy was posting an ad seeking old 45s and posted a picture of the one above. I never said it was good. However back then a lot of music didn't sound good unless the inappropriate amount of pharmaceuticals accompanied the turntable.

          Nice cover of 'Unchained Melody'

            B for effort

On Saturday night some friends of mine hired G Love to play live in their back yard. It was the first live music I've had a taste of since before the pandemic began and it was so awesome. G Love is out of Philly and has been jamming pro since the 1990s. he offers a great rhythm and blues sound with a some funk mixed in. He played solo but still jammed it out even doing a cover of Bob Dylan's Like a Rollin' Stone, Snoop Dog's gin & juice and a ton of his own great tracks. i recorded a good bit of it so will see if I can figure how to post thropugh one of the acceptable means.

here's some vid of G Love's 'Cold Beverage' from an early album

That's Hank the dog cruising on by in front. G who?

Humble Pie and Steve Marriott, one of the best front men and singers in rock. Not a bad guitar picker either. Sound isn’t that good on the video, but he’s still entertaining.

I'll see your covers of Immigrant Song and raise with:

                Government Mule with Ann Wilson:

                Chris Cornell:

                Slash with Myles Kennedy:

And now for something completely different, albeit not as different as a kazoo orchestra, Camille and Kennerly:
