Countdown was a tv show in Oz through the 70's, they gave many bands their first crack at getting on the telly.
I believe this is AC/DC's initiation to the show in 1974. I know they went from strength to strength with Brian Johnson. For me Bon Scott's shrill vocals really were unique, RIP. Look at these boys faces, grinning from ear to ear, they can't believe they are doing it haha

Wow! I’ve never seen that one before. I’m a huge A/C/DC fan and love the Bon Scott era. I thought I’d seen most all of their videos, never this one! What was he thinking with that outfit?πŸ˜‚ Angus is one of the best guitarists EVER! Thanks man!

Actually I don't have that, I remember seeing them live in Sydney doing their Back in Black tour after Bon died. Outstanding concert, Hells Bells still booms in my head sometimes. But it was then that I decided Brian Johnson can sing, but it wasn't the same sounding band.

Yeah, they sounded different, took me a while to get warmed up to them. This Blu-ray has a concert with Bon and the boys in Paris at their peak. The other disc is a concert with Brian singing...after 1980.

Herd dat! I play a little guitar myself, not very good. But I’ve always been interested and fascinated how some of these guys play. I know you do a little jamming yer self, from what I’ve read. If yer ever up to it, I’d love to hear about you and Buddy. Not trying to be nosey, but I like stories like that. Really.
