My Good Bud, Catfish Keith...we're only 12 days different in age...his Missus is a for-real Sweetie Pie, as well...
Ain't talked to him in some time, wonders if he still has his '59 Caddy???

Nice Avatar. I had to do a double take on it cuz I thought those were my dogs. The pup looked like my maltipoo Oscar and the chocolate lab like my Maggie. Maggie passed a couple years ago from cancer.

Sorry, not about music, just rekindled some great Memories. Thx.

If you're a SIRUSXM subscriber, Greatful Dead Channel (23) are doing "A Tribute to Jerry Garcia". It says 9 days. but I do not know when it started. Guest DJ's. Live and Studio.

John Mayer is guest DJ now. Saw him last year with Greatful Dead and Company at Gillette Stadiuim.

      Schedule copied from FB.

Join SiriusXM’s Grateful Dead Channel as we mark “The Days Between” the anniversaries of the birth and death of Jerry Garcia.

      · Saturday August 1st marks the day of Jerry’s birth in 1942, while Sunday August 9th is the 25th anniversary of his passing in 1995.

      · Each of the nine days of “The Days Between” will feature both live and studio music from Garcia’s solo career including the new archival release “Garcia Live Volume 14” recorded in New York City 01/27/86. Of course, you’ll also hear his incredible work with the Grateful Dead, too.

      · There will be three, full, live concerts from Jerry’s solo touring days. These will be co-hosted by Jerry’s daughter Trixie Garcia with our Grateful Dead Channel host David Gans.

      · Plus, John Mayer will hand pick and host his nine favorite, live Grateful Dead tracks.

      · Finally, there will be special airings of The 2016 Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration featuring Warren Haynes, hosted by Warren himself.

Last year the Dodgers brought up a new catcher named Will Smith. Nowadays all the players have a 'walk up' song that is played as the player walks up to the plate to bat. Will, being new and just glad to be in the bigs didn't have a preference for a walk up song, so the rest of the team chose the theme song to 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air.'

I know I’m late to the party, just found this thread and I’m a huge music lover. Wanted to throw in a few suggestions. A really good party starter is Southern Culture On The Skids. Great hillbilly rock, and funny songs, lyrically. Some good starter songs if you haven’t listened to them is Ditch Diggin, Banana Pudding, Biscuit Eater (live version is best), The Corn Rocket, Daddy Was Preacher and Mama Was A Go Go Girl.
BEST ROCK CONCERT VIDEO EVER! If you like A/C D/C even a little bit. Trust me on this, get their live concert on BluRay that was recorded in Paris. Load it in your player, grab some adult beverages and crank it up! They grab you by the throat and don’t let go! The first disc was all with Bon Scott before he died.( 2nd disc is with Brian Johnson, who replaced Bon, eh ). Bon, Angus, Malcom and the boys were at their best! The whole concert is incredibly energetic from start to finish. In fact, Angus has to go side stage at one point for some oxygen. Do yourself a favor and get a copy if you don’t have it. You’ll thank me later.

I’ve seen AC/DC a couple three times in concert in the 80’s 90’s and they were always one of the loudest. The cannons they fire off during the show had you “feeling sound”.

If you have a Weber Kettle, you need the Slow 'N' Sear

        Placeholder

The Slow 'N' Sear turns your grill into a first class smoker and also creates an extremely hot sear zone you can use to create steakhouse steaks.

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

        Placeholder

The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

Griddle And Deep Fryer In One

        Placeholder

The flat top does the burgers and the fryer does the fries. Use the griddle for bacon, eggs, and home fries. Or pancakes, fajitas, grilled cheese, you name it. Why stink up the house deep frying and spatter all over? Do your fried chicken and calamari outside. Blackstone's Rangetop Combo With Deep Fryer does it all!

The Pit Barrel Cooker May Be Too Easy

        Placeholder

The PBC has a rabid cult following for good reason. It is absolutely positively without a doubt the best bargain on a smoker in the world. Period. This baby will cook circles around the cheap offset sideways barrel smokers because temperature control is so much easier.

We always liked Grilla. The small 31.5" x 29.5" footprint makes it ideal for use where BBQ space is limited, as on a condo patio.

        Our Favorite Backyard Smoker

        Placeholder

The amazing Karubecue is the most innovative smoker in the world. The quality of meat from this machine is astonishing. The Cool Kettle With The Hinged Hood We Always Wanted

        Placeholder

Napoleon's NK22CK-C Charcoal Kettle Grill puts a few spins on the familiar kettle design. In fact, the hinged lid with a handle on the front, spins in a rotary motion 180 degrees. It's hard to beat a Weber kettle, but Napoleon holds its own and adds some unique features to make the NK22CK-C a viable alternative.
