I burned sticks for a while to get rid of some wood. She did better with a basket of charcoal. Those pipes are the "twin step-sisters." I now have her converted to gas for smoking sausage. May do some ribs on Thanksgiving while the turkey is going in the Pit Barrel.

You couldn't run one of these where you live?? Sorry to hear that, strict rules eh?

Uma, sorry to here that but I believe you live in a big city and they have ordinances that cater to the lowest common denominator. Come on down to the "Reade Ranch" in Georgia and we will do some Q and sit around the Fire Pot in the evening and watch the flames.

You'll love it Barry! Each cooker type has its place, but really truly all sentiments aside it is hard to beat a wood cook. Plus it's fun (in the right weather that is).

All weather is good for me. I guess the high winds is my least favorite weather.

I don't mind wind unless I'm raking or fishing. I don't care for cold rain when it should be snowing.
