    Passing it on.

Was able to tell someone new about the site last week - always like to "teach it forward"....It was a driver for Spee-Dee delivery. He dropped off a large box and I had no idea what it was until we looked at the packing slip - it was a shelf for a Louisiana pellet grill that I use. 30 minutes of BBQ talk during which I pointed him towards amazingribs.com and gave him a jar of my favorite rub and I had a new friend.

I am currently a contractor and one of our specialties is decks (particularly high end decks) and almost everyone has some sort of grill and a very few with the ability to smoke. I find that I frequently mention AR and it's merits and then a discussion about grilling starts, which can and has taken more time than the actual original appointment time needed.

It is kind of funny how easy it is to see if they are into grilling or not as those who are as their faces instantly light up and then I have a difficult time ending the conversation.

I oftentimes find my printing AR's website address on the back of my card for the client.

I also have several clients that I have given samples to from current cooks.

Hmmmm....now that I think about it for those I have given samples all of them have done multiple projects with us. Could be a marketing technique maybe. What do you think?
