Which way are you looking at it? For those that like it or for those that have not had it properly prepared?

I don't think there is a proper way to prepare it--it tastes awful regardless of prep method.

I'll eat liver & kidneys the day I see cows and pigs walking around with any muscles. Until then, there's too much delicious meat on 'nem 'nere animals to be messing with its guts.

If'n you've really never eaten calves liver, you owe it to yourself (really) to try it. Find a place that cooks it properly (whatever that means) and give it a whirl. Then you might understand the furor! LOL

I grew up HATING beef liver. I tried to eat it when it was served, but literally gagged each time I tried. Then... forward 20+ years, I found myself in a predicament. I, along with my boss and his associate, went to dinner at a private home who served their own beef liver with onions. I figured I'd just eat veggies, but the hostess served us with the liver and onions already plated. Oh no! What to do? So I tried again. To my surprise, it was delicious! I think due to being sliced extremely thin and pan fried slowly and almost out of existence with lots of onions made a difference.
Although I actually enjoyed it, I have never tried again. I'd rather remember that one good time.😊
