    • We have two weber kettle grills (one LARGE and one small/average), the SnS and the Weber Smokey Mountain 18" smoker. We use both natural lump charcoal and KNB for smoking and measure our temps with a Maverick 733, thermopen and MK4. Favorite beer depends on what is cooking (alt answer is yes).

ALLRIGHT! ALLRIGHT ALLRIGHT, spoken in my best Matthew McConaughey voice, or, Houston, we have a problem.

Apparently I am in need of remedial burger patty making lessons. I think I made a stuffed meatloaf, but IT IS A WINNER!! THANK YOU, fzxdoc !!

A bit of crunch from the bacon, unctiousness of the filling, DELISH! My first taste of Kings Hawaii. Rolls - durn, they are smallish! LOL

this was 85/14 CAB reverse seared with whiskey barrel oak. Drop the Mic.

Hey folks. I've been inactive for a while, but not inactive on the cooking... until recently. Temperatures in Arizona are over 110 degrees, with 116 predicted for this weekend.

Having wasted your time with that... I am STILL IN for the hat on July 26! You folks might get a picture of me with some pot roast, (with a short smoke for flavor) or chicken and dumplins' (with chickens in the PBC before ripping them apart). The point is, long cooks ain't happening for the near future.

Whoever is sending me the hat, send me a PM, and whoever wants it after me do the same.

#1 wanted her ribeye medium/medium rare. Picture is before the addition of baked potato, green beans and, of course, my onion sauce.

And yes, I thought the hat was on correctly. As I say MANY times, "Thinking is hard work. It's not for everybody." That includes me.
