I'd be happy to have either or both over for dinner. They'd have to be really hungry, though ... that would ensure that whatever I served would be considered delicious ...

RecTeq RT-700 Pellet pooper
Weber Genesis 1000 LX gasser w/Grill Grates
Smokehouse Little Chief II Electric
MK4 Thermapen
ThermoPop
IR Gun
2 Channel Smoke Alarm
Green Mountain Grills Wood Fired Pizza Oven(use it on the RT-700)
In life...in particular when dealing with this smoking thing - one cannot/should not be intimidated by the awesomeness of the experts. Enjoy that BBQ God aura they bring and maybe that will elevate your own game. We have a good friend that makes REALLY good Q and my wife's last comment was "I would not be embarrassed to have tem over for your pulled pork!" That being said...bring on Meathead and Blonder!

Heck Yeah!!! He might cringe on every step but ya know, I might get some invaluable tips and ideas to make my stuff even better.
I am not a rich man, so I make the best I can with the budget I have!
This site has helped tremendously with that.
Thank you.

that's us. we live in a small house, our indulgences are our dogs. I learned to cook t\for the same reason my grandmother did. I wanted to eat more than just basics.

the last time i went to a restaurant. was 3 years ago, my birthday, just out of rehab (Kneecap) the local restaurant does the birthday person their meal free! everyone in ChattaVegas goes there! since then, I realize, I can't afford a restaurant where i'd be willing to eat.

Sure, why not.
I'd probably make St Louis style Ribs and a Brisket, I do pretty good on the ribs, so-so on the Brisket.
Be nice to get suggestions on improving either.
I hope they like Liennie Honyweiss or Alaskan Amber though.
There is a liquor store just a couple blocks away, just in case.

Grills: 22" Weber (wood handles) (another Weber on the way), Lodge Sportsman "hibachi"
Smoker: None yet, part of why I joined
Thermometer: 10+ yr old Taylor digital thermometer with remote
Sous Vide: Anovo Imersion Circulator (1st gen)
Coffee Roaster: Hot Top Coffee Roaster
Adult Beverages: Fighting Cock Bourbon, Leinny Shandy, Troegs Mad Elf
Sure! There's always a keg on tap and what the previous owner called a coat closet, I call my liquor cabinet. We have a stunning view and two Weber 22's. I dont know if I'd serve them from the grill or from the SV. Probably a combo of both. Or take them to an awesome German restaurant or Tiki bar.
