We had a falcon living in a hangar for a while. It came and went whenever the doors were open. I think it finally left when it eliminated the dove population.

The building where I work has a large open office plan (cubicle farm) surrounded by smaller offices and a lobby. One early morning before dawn, I saw movement out of the corner of my eye - a couple of times. Only the night lights were on (I have lighting in my office) so it was relatively dark. Finally I saw the bat that was zooming around the area. When a couple more people showed up, we made enough noise to corral it in the lobby and opened the double doors to the outside. Do you think it would leave? No way. We were waving our arms and making noise, but he just kept circling. I grabbed a clipboard and tried to scare it out, but I guess it got tired and not quite so agile. On one wave I made contact and it was down for the count. We put it outside, and after about ten minutes it got up, shook its head, and I think it swore at us before it flew off.

I jus' don leather gloves, an' gently (!!!!!) corral stationary bats into my ball cap.
Take 'em outside, set 'em loose on a tree, or summat.
Happens alla th' time, where I work.
Prolly couple dozen time a year, easy.
Ppl freak on bats, so the Organization calls me.
(Done tol' 'em to, clean back when Reagan was Prez....)
That way, no bats are injured.
          For 2.5+ decades.

I would also suggest, just to be safe, do a thorough check through and make certain there is not a nest in the warehouse. they are very good at hiding them. if they are building, they'll come back.
