The prediction of 1 to 3 inches in Northeast Wisconsin turned out to be nothing. Didn't need to shovel off the grill to light the Kingsford at 8 am for an all day Chuck with my first trial of BBBR. Tried to somewhat duplicate The Pitboss trophy, but kind of close hmm, with alot of rationalization I suppose.

Here's how my grill and the side of my deck looks after shoveling it in Southeast Wisconsin:

Yes it sure was. Wet didn't get the 6-10 they predicted but it snowed lightly all day into the night.

      • We have two weber kettle grills (one LARGE and one small/average), the SnS and the Weber Smokey Mountain 18" smoker. We use both natural lump charcoal and KNB for smoking and measure our temps with a Maverick 733, thermopen and MK4. Favorite beer depends on what is cooking (alt answer is yes).

      Ahhhh, our first real storm!

Good luck to those impacted! Perhaps we should start a threat of our WINTER cooking goals! LOL

Winter cooking goals? Maybe a prime rib on New Years Eve but other than that it's bye bye to outdoor cooking until next April or May. I'll live vicariously through you guys until then.

When it comes to grilling, there is no off season.

Understood. I'm in northern, VA so I can go,through the winter. In fact, my friends expect me to cook in pretty much every storm.

Yeah Dean was at camp on the east side if the bay last night. It's not this bad. Girlfreind in Standish said the same. I just got back south to find this. I Underestimated this storm so I did cover these rigs. Looks like I'll be fireing these up today to get them thawed

Danjohnston949 . The hunting was everything I hoped for. Being on the water when one of these weather events happens is an absolutely amazing experience. I'm blessed. That's all I can say.

We only got about 4" or so. It snowed lightly all day Sat and into the night. Made traveling home from a wedding Sat night kind of a pain on the freeway, I was passing people and I was only going 45mph. Not enough snow for plows to be out and that's usually worse than a ton of snow, at least then they clear the roads.

The southern part of the state got hammered. We were on the upper faded edge of the system.
