Pretty much all of these apply at our house. Now, I have to figure out a way to get my wife to read them without my joining Craigar in Deepshit.

However, I will occasionally have a vanilla porter float in the summer (Empyrean Vanilla Porter w/a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream) as I usually drink stouts & porters in the colder months, pale ales & IPAs in the warmer months. I have to add Not Your Father's Root Beer to beers I use for floats.

        * - Favorite Spice outlets - Frisco Spices in LaVista, NE (the local butcher supply shop); Volcanic Peppers in Bellevue, NE

An elderly woman goes to the bar on a cruise ship and orders a Scotch with two drops of water. As the bartender gives her the drink she says,

'I'm on this cruise to celebrate my 80th birthday and it's today...'

The bartender says, 'Well, since it's your birthday, I'll buy you a drink. This one is on me.'

As the woman finishes her drink, the woman to her right says, 'I would like to buy you a drink, too.’

The woman says, 'Thank you. Bartender, I want a Scotch with two drops of water.'

          'Coming up,' says the bartender

As she finishes that drink, the man to her left says, 'I would like to buy you one, too.'

The woman says, 'Thank you. Bartender, I want another Scotch with two drops of water.'

'Coming right up,' the bartender says.

As he gives her the drink, he says, 'Ma'am, I'm dying of
curiosity. Why the Scotch with only two drops of water?'

The woman replies, 'Sonny, when you're my age, you've learned how to hold your liquor. Holding your water; however, is a whole other issue.'

I have stopped ordering steaks when out at dinner. I always want to go to the kitchen and tell them how they should be cooking them. I admit I have used A1, and other condiments on steaks at restaurants just to make them taste decent.

That pic reminded me of the time we had a guest (at the time, close friends of ours) whom we've had over many times for ribs, ask for A1 when I made steak one night. When we said we didn't have any she asked for ketchup. I was very proud of my poker face. Those are the ones you learn not to make steak for. #nosteakforyou #meatloafforyou

I agree. I really have no problem being the Steak Nazi! No steaks for A1 and ketchup requesting guest. They would get 1 freebie of making that mistake. After that... hot dogs and hamburgers would be their only options. No brioche buns for them!😖

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

                Placeholder

The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

Griddle And Deep Fryer In One

                Placeholder

The flat top does the burgers and the fryer does the fries. Use the griddle for bacon, eggs, and home fries. Or pancakes, fajitas, grilled cheese, you name it. Why stink up the house deep frying and spatter all over? Do your fried chicken and calamari outside. Blackstone's Rangetop Combo With Deep Fryer does it all!

The PBC has a rabid cult following for good reason. It is absolutely positively without a doubt the best bargain on a smoker in the world. Period. This baby will cook circles around the cheap offset sideways barrel smokers because temperature control is so much easier.

Napoleon's NK22CK-C Charcoal Kettle Grill puts a few spins on the familiar kettle design. In fact, the hinged lid with a handle on the front, spins in a rotary motion 180 degrees. It's hard to beat a Weber kettle, but Napoleon holds its own and adds some unique features to make the NK22CK-C a viable alternative.
