I've done this exact thing. Only many more beers came after 10! I actually let my gasser roll off the patio, down two terraces of bushes and into the lawn! Whoops. I still have that gasser. Still humming along. hahaha

Spinaker, Wow!! That is hard core drinking and grilling. I've passed out before the food was done a few times, and typically don't drink until dinner is served now, due to those events. Have never wrecked or tried an Evel Knievel jump with my grill though.

My dad and a neighbor exemplified this apron one beautiful Sunday afternoon.

It was in the mid-fifties at Ft. Leavenworth, KS, so #10 was not an option. We had to choke down the steaks.

Two engineers were standing at the base of a flagpole, looking at its top. A man biking nearby stopped and asked what they were doing.

"We're supposed to find the height of this flagpole," said one engineer, "but we don't have a ladder."

The man took a wrench from his backpack, loosened a couple of bolts, and laid the pole down on the ground. Then he took a tape measure from his backpack, took a measurement, and announced, "Twenty one feet, six inches," and cycled away.

One engineer shook his head and laughed, "A lot of good that does us.
We ask for the height and he gave us the length!"

This is an old one, but worth repeating for those who have not seen it.

In a convent in Ireland, the 99-year-old Mother Superior lay quietly. She was dying. The nuns had gathered around her bed, laying garlands around her and trying to make her last journey comfortable. They wanted to give her warm milk to drink but she declined. One of the nuns took the glass back to the kitchen. Then, remembering a bottle of Irish Whiskey that had been received as a gift the previous Christmas, she opened it and poured a generous amount into the warm milk.

Back at Mother Superior’s bed, they lifted her head gently and held the glass to her lips. The very frail nun drank a little, then a little more, and before they knew it, she had finished the whole glass down to the last drop. As her eyes brightened, the nuns thought it would be a good opportunity to have one last talk with their spiritual leader.

Mother,” the nuns asked earnestly, “Please give us some of your wisdom before you leave us.”

She raised herself up very slowly in the bed on one elbow, looked at them and said, “DON’T SELL THAT COW.”

HEALTH ISSUES WE SHOULD ALL ADDRESS

            • Do you ever have feelings of inadequacy?
            • Have you ever suffered from shyness?
            • Do you sometimes wish you were more assertive?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist about Cabernet Sauvignon.

Cabernet Sauvignon is the safe, natural way to feel better and more confident about yourself and your actions. It can help ease you out of your shyness and let you tell the world that you're ready and willing to do just about anything.

You will notice the benefits of Cabernet Sauvignon almost immediately and, with a regimen of regular doses, you can overcome any obstacles that prevent you from living the life you want to live.
Shyness and awkwardness will be a thing of the past and you will discover many talents you never knew you had. Stop hiding and start living.
Cabernet Sauvignon may not be right for everyone. Women who are pregnant or nursing should not use it. However, women who wouldn't mind nursing or becoming pregnant are encouraged to try it.
            Side effects may include:
Dizziness, nausea, vomiting, incarceration, loss of motor control, loss of clothing, loss of money, loss of virginity, delusions of grandeur, table dancing, headache, dehydration, dry mouth, and a desire to sing Karaoke and play all-night rounds of Strip Poker, Truth Or Dare, and Naked Twister.
            Warnings:
            • The consumption of Cabernet Sauvignon may make you think you are whispering when you are not.
            • The consumption of Cabernet Sauvignon may cause you to tell your friends over and over again that you love them.
            • The consumption of Cabernet Sauvignon may cause you to think you can sing.
            • The consumption of Cabernet Sauvignon may create the illusion that you are tougher, smarter and better looking than most people.
Please feel free to share this important information with as many people as you feel it may benefit!
Now, just imagine what you could achieve with a good Shiraz.

Ever since St. Patrick's Day, there has been a recurring theme in many of the posts here. Some people would include "Ten foot tall and good lookin' " somewhere in the list, for a total of 11 stages.

The Story Behind The 10 Stages Of Drunkenness

            By Dan Jenkins

Mankind's 10 Stages of Drunkenness originally appeared on page 115 of the novel Baja Oklahoma, which was published in 1981. If I'd known it was going to become such a popular item, I'd have moved it closer to the front of the book. As history knows, it eventually appeared on the walls of watering holes across the width and breadth of the United States and, according to an acquaintance, it was once spotted on the inside door of a restroom in a pub in rural England. I'm sure the stages were inspired by two decades—the '60s and '70s—of testing the speed of bartenders and waiters in such places as P.J. Clarke's, Elaine's and Toots Shor's that helped make Manhattan a comfort zone for me in those years.

It was also inspired, I'm compelled to say, by two friends who were with me late one evening in Clarke's when a mutual friend wandered in accompanied by a young lady who was not his wife and the mother of his children.

"He thinks he's invisible," one friend said.

"Wrong," the other friend said. "He thinks he's bulletproof."

The notion for an entire novel was born in that moment.

The 10 stages now live again (I've been trying to become known for something else ever since):
            1. Witty and charming
            2. Rich and powerful
            3. Benevolent
            4. Clairvoyant
            5. F--- dinner
            6. Patriotic
            7. Crank up the Enola Gay
            8. Witty and charming, Part II
            9. Invisible
            10. Bulletproof

Husband: My wife is missing. She went shopping yesterday and has not come home!

            Sheriff: Height ?
Husband: I’m not sure. A little over five-feet tall.

            Sheriff: Weight ?
Husband: Don’t know. Not slim, not really fat.

            Sheriff: Color of eyes ?
Husband: Sort of brown I think. Never really noticed.

            Sheriff: Color of hair ?
Husband: Changes a couple times a year. Maybe dark brown now. I can’t remember.

Sheriff: What was she wearing ?
Husband: Could have been pants, or maybe a skirt or shorts. I don’t know exactly.

Sheriff: What kind of car did she go in ?
Husband: She went in my truck.

Sheriff: What kind of truck was it ?
Husband : A 2016 pearl white Ram Limited 4X4 with 6.4l Hemi V8 engine ordered with the Ram Box bar and fridge option, led lighting, back up and front camera, Moose hide leather heated and cooled seats, climate controlled air conditioning. It has a custom matching white cover for the bed, Weather Tech floor mats. Trailing package with gold hitch, sunroof, DVD with full GPS navigation, satellite radio, Cobra 75 WX ST 40-channel CB radio, six cup holders, 3 USB port, and 4 power outlets. I added special alloy wheels and off-road Toyo tires. It has custom retracting running boards and under-glow wheel well lighting.

At this point the husband started choking up.

Sheriff: Take it easy sir, we’ll find your truck.

            slow n sear

The Slow 'N' Sear turns your grill into a first class smoker and also creates an extremely hot sear zone you can use to create steakhouse steaks.

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

            the good one grill

The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

Griddle And Deep Fryer In One

            Pit Barrel Cooker Smoker

The flat top does the burgers and the fryer does the fries. Use the griddle for bacon, eggs, and home fries. Or pancakes, fajitas, grilled cheese, you name it. Why stink up the house deep frying and spatter all over? Do your fried chicken and calamari outside. Blackstone's Rangetop Combo With Deep Fryer does it all!

            NK-22-Ck Grill

Napoleon's NK22CK-C Charcoal Kettle Grill puts a few spins on the familiar kettle design. In fact, the hinged lid with a handle on the front, spins in a rotary motion 180 degrees. It's hard to beat a Weber kettle, but Napoleon holds its own and adds some unique features to make the NK22CK-C a viable alternative.
