Mosca's joke reminds me of a Bubba and Boudreaux joke. Bubba and Boudreaux were sugarcane farmers in south Louisiana. Times were tough and they heard that there was big money to be made in New York City, so off they went. They get to New York go into the first employment agency they see. Boudreaux goes in and explains his history and comes out with out a job. Bubba goes in and does the same but comes out excited and says I start Monday. Boudreaux is confused - how did Bubba get a job and I didn't. The office manager explained - Bubba is a Pilot . Boudreaux yells " But he cain't pile it till I cut it"

Was watching a food show by Pati Jinich. She's Mexican, a great cook, fun to watch and can be pretty funny to watch; also she definitely has an accent. She had a show where she needed to use Worcestershire sauce. She tried a couple of time to say "Worcestershire" and ended up calling it W sauce.Last edited by Foehn Watts; November 30, 2020, 02:30 PM.

A text to a neighbour:
Hi, Max. This is Richard, next door. I’ve been riddled with guilt for a few months and have been trying to get up the courage to tell you face-to-face. When you’re not around, I’ve been sharing your wife, day and night, probably much more than you. I haven’t been getting it at home recently. I know that’s no excuse. The temptation was just too great. I can’t live with the guilt & hope you’ll accept my sincere apology and forgive me. Please suggest a fee for usage and I’ll pay you. Richard
Max, feeling enraged and betrayed, grabbed his gun, went next door, and shot Richard dead. He returned home, shot his wife, poured himself a stiff drink and sat down on the sofa. Max then looked at his phone and discovered a second text message from Richard.
SECOND TEXT MESSAGE:
Hi, Max. Richard here again. Sorry about the typo on my last text. I assume you figured it out and noticed that the darned Spell-Check had changed “wi-fi” to “wife.” Technology, huh? It’ll be the death of us all.

I've probably posted this one before, but putting it here now just special for THE Humble Texan
A man walks into a curio shop in San Francisco's Chinatown. He sees a small stature of a brass rat. "How much for this?" he asks the shopkeeper. "Ah, that very special one. It's $25 for the statue, $100 for the story behind it." The man puts $25 on the counter and says, "Thanks, but you can keep the story." He leaves and as he walks up Powell Ave rats start coming out of everywhere and following him. By the time he gets to Columbus Ave there are hundreds and they are pressing in on him. He runs to Fisherman's Wharf and when he gets to the end of a pier he throws the statue as far as he can into the bay, pulls himself up a light pole, and watches thousands of rats plunge into the water and drown. Shaken, he climbs down and goes back to the curio shop. "Ahhhh," says the storekeeper, "you are back for the story!" The man replies, "No, I just wonder if you have a brass statue of a lawyer."

wu7y --it is possible to tune bagpipes. You need to have the pipers close together. Makes it easier to pick one off and the other knows to be reeeel good in tune with whatever. Yah, I used to play bagpipes in high school; got the bug in the school and eventually the band had a pipe band; good 'cuz we were called the Highlanders.
Mr. Bones -- I love them pipes too!
Mr. Polarbear777 --used to practice in my back yard. Years later was told I could be heard at least a half mile away!

Reminds me of my real life plight.
Me: I'm getting a beer, you want one?
Mrs. CN: No, I'll just have a sip of yours.
(She drinks half my beer.)
Finally I learned:
Me: I'm getting a beer, you want one?
Mrs CN: No, I'll just have a sip of yours.
Bartender: What'll it be?
Me: Two beers please.
