An old man was sitting on his porch, rocking back n forth when he seen Little Joey come walkin down the street with a big ol' roll of chicken wire in his hand. The Old Man said to Joey "Hey boy, where you gon' with that chicken wire?"

Joey said "Im gon' catch me some chickens.."
Old Man says "Boy, dont you know you cant catch no chickens with no chicken wire?"
Joey said "Well, we'll see what happens.."
Old man says "Well, aight then.." and kept on rockin back n forth...

About a half-hour later, here comes Joey, walkin the other way down the street with 5 or 6 chickens wrapped up in the chicken wire. Old Man said "Well I'll be damned.." and kept on rockin back n forth..

A little while later, here comes Joey again, this time he's got a big ol' roll of duct tape in his hand. The Old Man said to Joey "Hey boy, where you gon' with that duct tape?"

Joey said "Im gon' catch me some ducks.."
Old Man says "Boy, dont you know you cant catch no ducks with no duct tape?"
Joey said "Well, we'll see what happens.."
Old man says "Well, aight then.." and kept on rockin back n forth...

About a half-hour later, here comes Joey, walkin the other way down the street, sure enough got a half-dozen ducks wrapped up in the duct tape. Old Man said "Well I'll be damned.." and kept on rockin back n forth..

An hour later, here come Joey again, this time hes got a big ol' handful of pussywillow.

The Old Man rockin says "Hey Boy, Let me get my coat..."

Little boy sittin' on the curb cryin'.

Old man walks up and asks why he's cryin'.

Little boy says, "Because I can't do what the big boys do."

      Old man, he cry, too.

That's one of the best ones yet.

The picture reminds me somewhat of one of a grizzled looking cowboy with the caption "There were a helluva lot of things they didn't tell me about when I signed on with this outfit." I got it when I was in the Army and kept in hanging on the wall of my office.

A family decides to go to church to see what it's like. A mother and father, a teenage son and a middle grade son all attend. After the service the mom complains that the pew was uncomfortable to sit on. The dad complains that the sermon was much too long. The teenage son complains that the music was lame. The middle grade son looks at his family and calmly states, "I thought it was a pretty good show for a dollar"....

            Since we're doing duck jokes:

A guy walks into a psychiatrist's office with a duck on his head. The psychiatrists asks, "What can I do for you?"

The duck says, "Doc, can you get this guy off my ass?"

                • We have two weber kettle grills (one LARGE and one small/average), the SnS and the Weber Smokey Mountain 18" smoker. We use both natural lump charcoal and KNB for smoking and measure our temps with a Maverick 733, thermopen and MK4. Favorite beer depends on what is cooking (alt answer is yes).

A man was dining alone in a fancy restaurant and there was a Gorgeous redhead sitting at the next table. He had been checking her out since he sat down, but lacked the nerve to talk with her.
Suddenly she sneezed, and her glass eye came flying out of its socket towards the man. He reflexively reached out, grabbed it out of the air, and handed it back.
'Oh my, I am so sorry,' the woman said, as she popped her eye back in place. 'Let me buy your dinner to make it up to you.'
They enjoyed a wonderful dinner together, and afterwards they went to the theatre followed by drinks. They talked, they laughed, she shared her deepest dreams and he shared his. She listened to him with interest.
After paying for everything, she asked him if he would like to come to her place for a nightcap and stay for breakfast. They had a wonderful, wonderful time.
The next morning, she cooked a gourmet meal with all the trimmings. The guy was amazed. Everything had been so incredible!
'You know,' he said, 'you are the perfect woman. Are you this nice to every guy you meet?'
                'No,' she replies. .. ....
                (get ready)
'You just happened to catch my eye.'
(Oh shut up, and just forward it!)

There's a variation of that joke involving how she used her eye socket after they got to her place. As he left the next morning she invited him to come back and said, "I'll keep an eye out for you."

However, I will occasionally have a vanilla porter float in the summer (Empyrean Vanilla Porter w/a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream) as I usually drink stouts & porters in the colder months, pale ales & IPAs in the warmer months. I have to add Not Your Father's Root Beer to beers I use for floats.

                  * - Wines - Reds: mainly the heavy stuff mixed in with the occasional pinot noir ( I have yet to meet a malbec I didn't like); Whites: German & Nebraska (hey, I have to support the home team)

I hate sex in the movies. Tried it once. The seat folded up, the drink spilled and that ice, well, it really chilled the mood.

I think at least some of us will relate to this!

Of uncertain historicity but funny nevertheless:

Indian Chief ‘Two Eagles’ was asked by a white U.S. government official, “you have observed the white man for 90 years. You’ve seen his wars and his technological advances. You’ve seen his progress, and the damage he’s done.”
                    The Chief nodded in agreement.
The official continued, “Considering all these events, in your opinion, where did the white man go wrong?”
The Chief stared at the government official then replied, “When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work. Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex.”
Then the chief leaned back and smiled, “Only white man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.”

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

                    the good one grill

The Good-One Open Range is a charcoal grill with an offset smoke chamber attached. It is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. The grill sits low in front and doubles as a firebox for the smoke chamber which is spliced on above and behind so it can work like a horizontal offset smoker only better. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.
