    Pearls before..... oh well.....

so, I've been feeling rotten the last few days and just was NOT up to cooking, today. HWMO is eating frozen microwave burritos. I CANNOT describe how HORRIBLE my house smells right now!

LOL....That is funny. Precisely the reason I learned to cook.

sadly, he never did learn to cook. he left his mother's home (her idea of lasagna is tomato juice with the French's spaghetti spice packet and cottage cheese) and joined the Navy. from the Navy, back to his Mom. I married him about two years after he left the Navy and took him from his mother's home.

Karon Adams, It begs to ask the question, Is this what he survived on while you learned how to cook? I just had to ask, I ate Meatloaf and Baked Potatoes every other night the first two years we were married, left overs in between? 😝. Dan

You lay those across the bottom of a casserole dish, cover with canned chili and shredded cheese and it resembles a genuine effort. Probably won't help the smell.

Well, it's definitely not everyday food but a couple of frozen burritos heated up during halftime of a football game can be heaven on earth to a guy. Especially when doused with Siracha sauce!

Is that because of the burritos themselves, or because of what those burritos do to a man?

no, I swear, the man is an absolute gourmand when it comes to coffee and beer. kind of. he makes his own and roasts his own. there is no place in town he'd buy except the local roster's shop or the few places that make their own beer.

but when it comes to food, he really doesn't care. Aptil fools once, I put salt in his coffee. never noticed. at various times I have told him,. 'no I didn't" "Yes I did." he will never know cause he honestly couldt tell.

he eats scrapple. I took some of the dog's food (we feed raw feed and sometimes supplement with bil Jac. so, I took the bil jac and shaped it like his scrapple. breakfast. two days. never knew. again. "Yes I did." "No, I didn't" and he can NEVER know because he couldn't tell.

In the words of Marie Barrone, "I'm Picasso and he's BLIND!"
