There's no "all of the above" ...

    This is how it's done.

Does the link work? It's giving me issues.

BTW Huskee your poll has no correct option to select.

It's more of a Puh sound than a Pee sound though.

<FACEPALM> My wife is from New York (I'm from AL) and she loves to annoy me by incorrectly pronouncing Pecan this way. In fact, that's why I have a clip of the video above... to prove to her how wrong she is

If I'm referring to the nut I say pee-CON, if I'm referring to the pie, I say puh-CON pie, not pee-CON pie. I don't know I don't even like them or the pie. I just find these things interesting.

One day you'll need to try some good ole fashioned Alabama Puh Kahn pie. It's one of my favorite holiday memories from childhood.

I always liked pecan pie. The substitution of maple syrup made me love it (which is handy, given the dozen pecan trees in my yard!).

Puh-CON pie is my favorite. I always get homemade pecan pie as my birthday cake. Had a girlfriend who used to make them for me with kahlua. Maple syrup sounds like a nice variation too.

Excellent! I took this about a year ago, or one just like it, and have been looking for it. Thanks John.

My Daddy was a Redneck my Mamma was a coonass daddy said Pee-Con and mamma said Pee-Can so I have been a bit confused all my life so it depends on which one of my parents I am mocking at the time.
