I am doing a low country boil next weekend and, as usual ,invited too many people. To offset this, I was hoping to make some pulled chicken sandwiches off two birds I plan on butterflying that day. any recommendations for rubs, and what kind of sauces to serve with this? thanks in advance

I use any sweet BBQ sauce right at the end on my chicken.
Seasoning is highly dependent on who is consuming it. Dry brining and then adding black pepper while cooking will work, it works for Chris Lilly.

I was thinking of a Memphis dust rub although I have never used it on chicken. Are you suggesting black pepper only?
