$$%&# Burn Ban in my area... no BBQ this weekend???

I could say more but do not want to upset anyone who is enamored with the wisdom of the Govt....

Stage 1 Air Quality Advisory – Mandatory Burn Ban

All open burning, including all forms of recreational fires, charcoal BBQ grills and campfires, is prohibited by Idaho State Air Quality Rules (IDAPA 58.01.01.550). Propane grills are allowable.

Due to increased smoke impacts and elevated pollutant levels (fine particulate matter), DEQ is issuing the Stage 1 Air Pollution Forecast and Caution

Spend like $50 on incorporating as an LLC and you don't have to worry about this, plus you can make money at some point if you choose to.

Maybe not, the rules seem a little crazy, even banning the use of cars 0.o

Seems like the average time for such an "emergency" is 24 hours.

Sorry Fellas at 65 soon to 66, I can remember getting under the desk to avoid smoke in the late 50’s and early 60's. The late 60's were a bit foggy as has been mentioned. By the 70's I could almost see the light, started BBQing in the 80's, got better at it in the 90's, Now at my advanced age I am afraid I am going to forget how! Dan

Actually if they could get the firenado under control I think that would do more than messing up weekend plans.

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

                  the good one grill
The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

Griddle And Deep Fryer In One

                  Pit Barrel Cooker Smoker
The flat top does the burgers and the fryer does the fries. Use the griddle for bacon, eggs, and home fries. Or pancakes, fajitas, grilled cheese, you name it. Why stink up the house deep frying and spatter all over? Do your fried chicken and calamari outside. Blackstone's Rangetop Combo With Deep Fryer does it all!

The Pit Barrel Cooker May Be Too Easy

                  Pit Barrel Cooker Smoker
The PBC has a rabid cult following for good reason. It is absolutely positively without a doubt the best bargain on a smoker in the world. Period. This baby will cook circles around the cheap offset sideways barrel smokers because temperature control is so much easier.

The Thermoworks Thermapen MK4 is considered by the pros, and our team, to be the single best instant read thermometer. The MK4 includes features that are common on high-end instruments: automatic backlight and rotating display. Don't accept cheap substitutes.
