I ordered a Timberline 850 on Memorial Day, took until today to be made whole on the purchase. The customer service has been atrocious, bad enough that I would stay away just for that. It arrived dented. It has taken a dozen emails and two incorrect shipments to get a replacement lid. The app is utter crap, have to force close it every time I want to check the temp, kind of defeats the thought of having a smart product. But I've done 4 nice cooks on it. Smoked three times and grilled some burgers.

                Welcome to the pit!

I will offer my 2 cents on the Yoder as I’ve just sold a YS640cc and purchased a YS1500S. Yoders paint is fantastic, it looks good and is easy and economical to repair, I wish I could say the same about the powder coated grills I’ve owned. The original Yoder controller was good but the new controller is fantastic.

My dealer had a YS640S Comp cart and a Treager Timberline when I picked up my grill, Yoder has added hooks for hanging tools and bumpers for the counter weight in addition to the controller and igniter. I really like the double wall construction and the 3 shelves of the Timberline but have never cooked on one.

Happy cooking and good luck with your new grill,
                Clare
