I have been smoking for 15+ years on a weber smokey mountain cooker. Decided it was time to make things easier but not lose any flavor. I did a month of research and decided on the GMG Peak and after a month of use I am extremely satisfied. We have fixed boston butts, baby back ribs, pork chops, veggies, fish, burgers, and chicken and all have came out great. I have tested internal temps at the grate level with a thermapen (through the probe slot) throughout short and long cooks and the displayed temp has been +/- 3 degrees at most. I started out using the GMG pellets but wanted more flavor so I switched to 100% hickory pellets and have been very pleased. The app and wifi options are awesome and I especially like the programable cooks. I guess the real satisfaction comes from all of the requests for more cooks. Any tips/tricks are greatly appreciated and if you have any questions for me just ask.
