Camp Chef WIFI 24 with Sear Box

Hello All,

I just purchased the Camp Chef WIFI 24 with the sear box.

I also purchased a Grill Grate for the sear box.

I am going to use propane at first because the natural gas conversion valve is out of stock for a few weeks. As soon as it comes in I will convert to NG.

Also a little tip for anyone considering camp chef, I was able to get 10% off my entire purchase by using the HONEY app which found me a discount code that worked.

This grill is replacing a little smaller Traegar that I purchased at Costco a few years ago. The Traegar did a decent job once I learned how to cook with it.

Once I have a couple of cooks in I will post how it went and see if I wasted my money or not.

I have used a Traeger for a few years and it has worked well. Maybe not as much smoke as I would like at times. The biggest issue was getting a good hot sear which I hope Camp Chef has solved. Waiting on mine to come in so I can try it out. I am going to convert the NG when the parts are in stock. The one issue that I have seen posted is that the temp. probes are not very sturdy. I have some extra probes for my Thermoworks which I think will work. They are very good quality. I will update once I find out.
