Here was my remedy when I out grew The patio. I just wheel out out the pellet popper or the Akorn the Ugly Drum smoker got moved out to my shop. With my Maverick XR 50 can monitor any of them from my lazy boy chair🤓

Just finishing up the new patio and landscaping and getting some pictures taken with the drone. The grill island is next on the list but not sure where it's going to go. Grill on the deck. Grill, smoker and pizza oven on the patio.

Well it looks like you have options for where to put the grill island. Very nice space and the landscaping looks great. Can't wait to see more pics.

Looks great and the drone shots really help to get the feel for what you're doing. I like the boulders too. What the perimeter that separates the gravel from the lawn? Is it just standard sized brick or do they go pretty deep?

Looking forward to the next set of pics.

Part of a much bigger project including replacing a lot of pool and deck area with travertine, replacing all the fences, refinishing all the stamped concrete surfaces, painting the house, refinishing all the outdoor furniture. Heck why not build on to the house!

Builtin gasser, sideburner on one island. The other island is a "bar" style with seating on one side and a fridge, deep sink and prep area... cabinets, storage underneath

The roofer finished yesterday and the electrician today. Bought a gasser to be built in (38" cutlass pro), bought the sink and cabinets. decided to (again) expand the amount of travertine I am buying and add LED lights all along the edge where you step down from the porches to the pool area. All that area you see with cement will be travertine

WOW! Can't believe the pic I posted on page 1 was well over a year ago. I have since poured a whole new back patio. My 12 X 12 spot I allotted is way full now. Thursday I gotta figure out where I'm gonna put my new Stampede!

Update. Not much progress on the kitchen but the travertine is mainly in and looking good. All in, the travertine work is much more than the kitchen including the buildout!Click image for larger version

My wife and I just finished compacting 5 yards of decomposed granite as we work on our fire pit area! Fun but hard work.

Just finished my first adorandak chair. 5 to go. Click image for larger version

Ha ha! Doesn’t look like much yet but once we get adorondack chairs and some landscaping and a little dry weather it should look better. Thanks

It maybe called different things but basically it is a crushed stone that compacts really well. When you compact it the mix needs to be damp but once it is dry it is a hard surface. It needs to be about 4” deep. I suppose if it really rains hard it might soften up but then it drys out hard again. Lowe’s and Home Depot sell it for small project but you need to go to a material yard for better price.

Well, more progress. Still waiting on granite, gutters, painet, etc... but seeing actual drawers that work is a step! Also my fire pit is ready Click image for larger version
