    Your favorite cookin' related gadgets.

Please post your favorite gadgets. You are not limited to one.

I'll start with the one that gave me the idea to start this post. It prevents pots from boiling over, and it really works.

Here's a likn to one similar to the one I have:

For me, other than my various cookers, it’s my Foodsaver vacuum sealer. I use it almost daily. It is the one "gadget" that delivers real benefit both financially and with convenience.

Perhaps, but you taught me they can also be for a spill cover. I did not know that.

I Have a kitchen aide immersion blender combo that also has a mini processor that I love! Use it more than the immersion blender attachment.

Love my Frywalls. I have the 10 and 12 and will be getting the 8 as well. I have a glossy black induction range and these things make a huge difference. Not perfect but far, far better than not using them.

It's good to hear that you like them. I almost bought the set over a year ago, but somehow it lanquished on my Amazon Save For Later list.

I may look at it again.

I guess one that I wish I had bought sooner is a fish spatula. That boy comes in CLUTCH, especially for grilled cheese and the like.

Mine is kind of weird. A 2" mini paring knife from New West Knife Works. Seems like I reach for that knife more than any other on the rack.
        OOOPS forgot the link.

I have a Smith's Diamond Tri Hone for sharpening knives. It gives me sharp knives after a little practice. It works good for me.

I bought this Zyliss mandolin/grater on a whim years ago. Turned out it was a good find. This thing is Bad A**..I use it all the time. I always say...Never underestimate the power of a hand tool.

These are four that I use all the time: Egg puncher for soft boiled eggs, thermoworks rubber spatula, thermoworks thermometer, micro planer and a garlic peeler (hate peeling garlic) which works like a champ.

My two favorite gadgets are from Tupperware.

The Shaker. I’ll use it for making dressing, marinades, pudding, breakfast shakes, etc, etc. I have three of them.

The Tupperware marinade container is Awsome for chicken, pork chops and even beef. It’s about 10”x12”. The nubs on both pieces allows the marinade to get under the meat and it seals completely so you can just flip the whole thing over. It will fit a whole chicken nicely.

A bit odd... but a shower cap!

it has elastic to it fits perfectly around bowls and bread bannetons as a cover. Ultra cheap and last a while (of course they will wear out)

I would collect shower caps when I travelled to hotels. 😎
