    Grill Light recommendations

I am only seeing one recommendation for a grill light on the free site: https://amazingribs.com/cuisinart-gr...turns-dark-day Is there a platinum award winning light? or any other lights rated? Looking for the best light for a Hasty Bake Legacy 131

Myself, I'd invest in a good headlight, or something that illuminates more than just the grill.

    Welcome to the forum!!

Wow Mr. Bones we must be brothers from another mother. That is exactly the headlight I have. Works great hooking the rv beast up in the dark.

You ever thought of combining everything into a bag, smashing it all together, and serving? At the county jail, if a prisoner acts up, they smash everything they were going to eat that week, bake it, and that is their food for the week.

I use something like this, older model. This is $25 at harbor freight.

I use a Char-Broil LED light that attaches to the handle. It has served me well both at our cabin at our house. It doesn't like heavy rain, but a normal shower is fine. It lights up my 3 burner grills and the side tables enough to see what you are doing on them. It is on the higher end of the price range out there. I have never changed batteries in 2 years in the one at home. The LED head is directional, so you have to be careful you don't bring it down on the hot grill.

I have one that fits in the visor of my cap. Cheap at the hardware store and works well.

I've got two spots on each side of the back of the house. Works for me.

I need to look into the headlamp idea. My patio is 8x8' just outside my back door. My grill is just at the edge. I was just out there cleaning the grate and my back was blocking the light from the porch light. I was thinking of getting some of those lights you can get at Home Depot that you put on a pole (contractors light, sort of thing), but the headlamp eliminates messing with all that and power....plus it shines right where one is looking!

Used a headlight forever. For me it's the way to go.

I use a headlamp......no shadows in the night. The one I use has auto-dimming, which makes it really nice!

Not cheap to buy, but it is awesome and rugged. Battery is rechargeable and it lasts forever. I realize its over kill for BBQ, but I also use it for backpacking, hiking and fishing.
