We are currently working on opening a BBQ store very similar to that in the Grand Rapids, MI area! We're online right now and very small, but we're working hard to get everything moving!

I eyeball all of those great rubs in many stores and then choke when I see the price. I prefer to look up a recipe online (Amazingribs.com has many) then I visit the bulk area at Winco for sugar and spices...pennies on the dollar. That's not to say I haven't purchased some great rubs (Hank's comes to mind).

Well they’re open. Barbecue Supply Company in Greendale, WI. Only a few miles from me unfortunately. They opened about two weeks ago and I stopped by this afternoon. A very nice shop. They are still filling out their inventory but already have a huge array of rubs, sauces, accessories, etc. They also have the full line of Green Mountain pellet cookers and SnS products/grills in stock and on display. Gateway drum cookers arrive next week. AND, wait for it.....they have Meatheads book on display and in stock! Oh and also fuel in the form of pellets, lump coal, and the new fangled charcoal bricks or whatever they are called. All the higher grade fuels sources. I got out after "only" spending $75. I feel lucky with that. Again, a nice shop that I suspect I will be visiting often.

This is not good at all. It's an hour away, but right smack on the way to my brothers place. Guess I'll have to quit going to see him.
Of course he might be the one that encouraged them to open this road block on my way to his place.

I wouldn’t go in there because at first, they had the vape place. If I offend, sorry, but vaping sickens me. Literally. I practically go into anaphylactic shock if I am around it. Anyways, ace hardware rocks! And have we discussed the wood shed in orange/ Anaheim? About 20-30 different cooking logs, chunks, chips.

I know it well SheilaAnn! Great place. The Ace Hardware across the street has a good supply of BBQ wares, as well.

If someone near me carried the PBC, I would have had one a LONG time ago as an impulse purchase. Right now, I am lucky there are no big grill stores nearby. It's hard enough controlling my online MCS spending!

The lack of stores like that and a bass pro shops anywhere near me has saved me god knows how much over the years.
