We have gone and done it! We have a plan for a Meat-Up in Memphis in late August 2021 and registration is open.

Some clarification: We originally wanted to limit this to members only and when we wrote ther registration software it required spouses to be members. We have fixed the software and now anyone can attend, member or not.

Also to address some possible confusion in a couple of the above posts, spouses cannot attend the events unless they purchase an event ticket of their own. But spouses or pals are welcome to accompany those who've bought tickets, and are welcome to do their own thing during the seminars and bus tours etc.

Today I booked our room after Barbara told me that it it's likely that she will get the time off to attend. Also, she booked our flight. Getting excited already!

Hey everybody, can't wait to meet all of you soon! Maybe I missed the email or have failed to read the instructions, but can you remind me: I paid my $100 deposit but not the rest of my balance. Where/how do I finish my ticket?

Well,

Tickets purchased for my wife and me. Looking forward to the Peabody booking system to open up so I can book rooms for next year. We'll be travelling from the UK. This is our first time in the USA and we are hoping to have a great time. We are flying in early and have booked days after the event so we can do some sightseeing.

Whoohoo. The Meat Up in Memphis is now official. August 26-30.
Great work Meathead Calling The Peabody today to reconfirm my reservation.

And my room is now booked. 🙌

Also noticed their “room tax” went up by 1/2%. From 17.75% to 18.25%.
No biggie for me at all.

any chance you want to sell an individual event ticket to one or more meals? She does fine without me but I’m guessing I’m not the only one with a trailing spouse who might come to one thing if that was an option

Meathead, Huskee my wife and I both registered for the event for 2020 which was of course postponed until 2021. We left our deposit "on deposit" for the 2021 event. Can I assume you guys have all that accounted for as I would sure hate to miss it! Also, do either of you know if we have to re-register at the Peabody for 2021, or was that handled so that it was rolled forward also? Thanks, Tom
